Beautiful facility, terrible mattress

Everything about the hotel was great. The front desk clerk was phenomenal, food. The next morning was great, beautiful property. However, the bed we slept on was absolutely horrible! My husband was coming down for a consultation for hip replacement and woke up the next morning and was in so much pain he might as well slept on the floor. We won't stay at that location again and we love Hampton Inn, but we can't take a chance that we're gonna get stuck in another room with a mattress on a bed that feels like it came from a Barbed wire fence.

Room was in excellent conditions, arrived late and staff was really helpful. I would highly recommend staying here if you have a family and are looking for a safe place, clean, comfy. It's really close to University of Michigan.

It was a packed weekend because the Univ. of Michigan's was moving in the dorms for freshmen. Although the hotel was sold out they kept the breakfast stocked and moving smoothly. Our room was very clean and kept clean the whole time we were there. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful in all our questions. Good location for restaurant, shopping, and UofM activities.
