The staff get five stars. The room was clean but we were in 101 which was near the outside door where everyone used to exit to smoke. The water pressure in the shower was near non-existent. You had to scrub the soap off!!! If the staff were not so great, I would have rated this stay one star for the poor water pressure. BTW, the mattress was excellent. The hotel is close to restaurants and shopping.

I stay here for business for about 6 weeks every year. It's the best deal for the price in Ann Arbor. You get a kitchen, gym, laundry, and a store withbasic food items for the same price of a single room at other hotels. It's not fancy, but it's a good choice for business travelers.

the room was clean and tidy, however when i booked the room I asked if it was a no smoking hotel and if Marijuana was allowed. I was assured that this property was a smoke free environment, and no marijuana was allowed. Upon arrival shortly after checking in and getting set up in our room we noticed marijuana smell coming from the floor we were on. I addressed it with the staff they indicated that they would reinforce the policy by placing a note under each door on the floor we were on. We left for several hours expecting that upon return the marijuana issue would be resolved. However, when we returned the problem was not resolved. We had to open all windows in our room, place towels under all doors to block the smell. We will not be staying at this location again. This situation was never properly handled or even addressed as the staff indicated. There were no rules placed under the doors as promised as we didn't get one. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone!
