The room was tomblike. Two floors with a one tiny slit of a window facing a wall. Only natural light was a ceiling window in the bathroom room, otherwise utter darkness. Not what I expected from a hotel like this. There are many better options in Antigua.

We loved everything about this hotel, but we didn't use the hotel restaurant (too expensive). There are two great restaurants only one block away that are excellent with midrange prices (27 Adentro and Hector's Bistro). The room upgrade was offered to us on the last of our three nights but we decided to stay put in our regular room. The hotel gave us a nice cheese and bread antipasto platter, to acknowledge our 35th anniversary. The grounds and the room were very lovely. There is a huge underground parking garage but we did not bring a car. Staff was very polite and friendly.

Amazing property! Staff was very friendly & helpful Breakfast was unbelievably good with a very wide assortment of food & drink. And again the staff were there to make the breakfast buffet a great experience!
