I cannot say enough good things about this hotel – it absolutely surpassed all my expectations! The property is enormous and beautifully maintained. I had no idea it’s actually the largest hotel in Antigua, and it truly feels grand in every way. The entire place was spotless – everything from the common areas to my room was immaculately clean and clearly well cared for. The decor was tasteful and welcoming, giving the hotel a luxurious yet comfortable atmosphere. Every staff member I encountered was warm, professional, and incredibly accommodating. The customer service here is top-tier – I felt genuinely looked after throughout my stay. Room service was available every day and always timely. If you’re visiting Antigua and want a hotel that delivers on space, cleanliness, service, and overall quality, this is the one. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and seamless experience.

The place is great, the landscape is gorgeous, the rooms are comfy and I like the fact that they have a wood burning chimney. What will have me thinking twice on coming back is that they will nickel and dime you for just about everything. They don't allow you to bring food or drinks from outside, understandable. We went to enjoy the outdoor pool, but the bar didn't have any staff, towels are hard to get, because the stages off.

My experience at hotel soleil wasn’t pleasant. I’m not the one to leave negative reviews but this time I thought I share my experience. Sauna area was not clean and had a funky smell. The jacuzzi looked old and outdated, didn’t enjoy it at all. I had ordered food from the pool side restaurant but wasn’t satisfied with the food quality. So I have decided to order food from a local restaurant but when I went to pick it up at the lobby I was held by security who told me food from outside wasn’t allowed in property. Then I was confronted by the manager, I literally felt like a little kid being scolded it was terrible! I couldn’t wait to check out. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Hotel Soleil was a first of a kind for me. They were very kind to upgrade us to a suite. The room was absolutely beautifu but the sink smelt like sewage when the water was running. On top of that the bed was like a rock, for such a beautiful suite such a disappointment the bed was so hard. Lastly, we went for a dinner out in Antigua and had some left over food. They wouldn’t let us bring it on the property which was the first time I ever experienced this. Found that to be absolutely ridiculous. Such a weird place, such a nice resort with many flaws!!!

El servicio al cliente es excelente, el buffet de desayuno tiene variedad. Las habitaciones muy limpias. Ofrecen transporte sin costo para el centro de Antigua. Lo único que podría mejorar es la variedad de comida para niños, viajamos con nuestra pequeña de 7 años pero no habían opciones de comida para ella, únicamente platos grandes por lo que el almuerzo y la cena lo hicimos fuera.

You aren't able to take water bottles or any time of food and beverages to the hotel and don't have any for sale no water no soda no juice and you cant bring it in!!! The bed where very hard and the bathtub was not working properly.
