The hotel was very nice but Antwerp was our least favorite city in Belgium……typical big city without much historical charm, and the city looked a little dirty and seemed less safe than other cities (although we had no issues).

Our first room had a frozen condenser covered in ice in the small refrigerator. As we had pates, cheeses and fruit, we needed a functioning refrigerator. We were changed to another room that had the same problem. Reception’s solution was to use their office refrigerator. The young woman from reception argued that it was working even though the water inside was hot. We opened the refrigerator door and used a hairdryer to defrost it. It worked fine until our checkout two days later. Unmaintained refrigerators use energy, end up in landfills and are a possible fire hazard. And the staff was rude and uninformed. Shocking for such a large hotel.

Fantastic breakfast and very nice hotel

We really enjoyed this stay. The art deco hotel was very nice, the room was spacious, the fitness suite was modern and the breakfast was really excellent

The property is stunning, giving off 4 or 5 star vibes and environment. However, the service and amenities in the room are much more like a 3 star. We didn’t have any shower gel in the room for the entire stay, then when we brought this to the attention of the staff they said it’s our fault for not telling the cleaners to check and it was still not replenished. When asking about room service, we were rudely told to “look online” and the receptionist put the phone down on us. Room didn’t get cleaned one day. WiFi also didn’t work in the room. When complaining to the hotel at the end of the trip they refused to offer any compensation or apology for the service. Will not return.

Great hotel, huge and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, spotless rooms! My only (small!) gripe was there is only one room to change after the sauna / pool, even the communal changing area could not be used as door was wide open into shared space.

Absolutely a great hotel, as somone that stays in hotels 100+ nights a year, this one is a good one. Perfect location in front of the park, close to public transportation, and feels and look brand new. Despite having lots of people from tomorrowland, we didnt feel that it was crazy busy. My only wish is to make breakfast more reasonably priced as for 4 people it was over 130 euros for one breakfast. We stayed at the family room and the kids loved the bunk beds
