"House in the Sun" on suuri ja hyvin varustettu 55 mÂČ: n huoneisto, jossa on 180 asteen nĂ€kymĂ€t valkoisten vuoristojen juurelle.
Paidohorin unisen kylÀn reunalla sijaitseva talo on 15 minuutin pÀÀssÀ Kalyvesin ihanista hiekkarannoista ja 20 minuutin pÀÀssÀ Almyridasta.
LÀhin minimarkkinat, apteekki ja taverna sijaitsevat Agio Pantesissa, joka on hyvin lyhyen ajomatkan pÀÀssÀ - tai pidempi kÀvelymatka.

Huoneistossa on hyvin varustettu tÀysikokoinen keittiö, runsas parivuode ja iso olohuone, jossa on yksi vuodesohva ja / tai tarvittaessa lisÀvieraille tarkoitettu matkasÀnky sekÀ erillinen moderni suihkuhuone ja wc. Huoneistossa on TV, DVD ja Wifi.

LÀmmitys talvella ja ilmastointi kesÀisin ovat saatavilla tarvittaessa.

Asiakkaat voivat kÀyttÀÀ yksinomaan suurta yksityistÀ patioa ja varjoisa oleskelualue, josta on upeat nÀkymÀt.

Hania, viehÀttÀvÀ venetsialainen kaupunki, jossa on historiallinen satama, on upea paikka vierailla ja kÀvellÀ vanhankaupungin ympÀri ja syödÀ rannalla tai piilotetuilla sivukaduilla. Se on vain 30 minuutin ajomatkan tai bussin pÀÀssÀ.

Paidohorin kylÀ sijaitsee Hanian ja Rethymnonin vÀlissÀ. Hanian lentokenttÀ on noin 45 minuutin pÀÀssÀ, ja Heraklionin lentokenttÀ on alle 2 tuntia. Olemme 2-3 minuutin pÀÀssÀ Agio Pantesin risteyksestÀ kansallisella tiellÀ.
Julkisilla kulkuvÀlineillÀ Chania ja Rethymnonia Agio Pantesiin kulkee taksiasema, mutta suosittelemme vieraita vuokraamaan auton.

Beautiful week in Crete

My husband and I had the best week in Crete, Chris and Kathy were the prefect hosts and very welcoming (and their cats were also very welcoming and friendly and gave the place a very homely feel). The apartment was amazing and the pool area was so private and relaxing. Great location for exploring the coast and the mountains, can’t wait to come back! Thank you x

Wonderful week at a wonderful location

Kathy & Chris were fabulous hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and their tips regards restaurants, places to visit and the general area were very helpful. Property is lovely, garden and pool gorgeous and views are just stunning. We had a very restful, comfortable and happy week, not doing an awful lot, other than fussing and playing with the cats who are so friendly. Thank you both for a wonderful week.

A lovely House in the Sun with great hosts, facilities and environment.

Our 3rd visit to Crete. This is a lovely, air-conditioned apartment, set in a quiet traditional village in a beautiful part of Crete. The views from the patio are stunning. The facilities provided within the apartment, and outside, were all we needed for our 9 night stay. The bed is very comfortable and the pool is everything it looks, maintained at a constant 30 Deg C. Within 30 minutes travel is the lovely seaside resort of Kalyves. There are many golden, sandy, beaches within easy reach. Chania airport and city are about 30 minutes drive as is a Lidl store. There are local shops and chemists within a few minutes drive. I advise hiring a car, in order to get the best from your stay. The hosts, Kathie and Chris are lovely people! They are extremely helpful, friendly and kind. The advice that they gave us on the local area was really helpful. Thank you both, so much, for everything! We thoroughly recommend thiis for a holiday to remember! Roly & Mandy Love.

More than expected

After reading the reviews and so many positive reviews we decided to book this place. Well all i can say is we were not disappointed very clean with all you need. Wonderful well kept gardens and a beautiful pool plenty of areas to enjoy the sun but also a lovely shaded area under the wisteria to escape from the heat but for me the best was the Wonderful views of the olive groves flanked my the white mountains stunning with only the sounds of a Greek summer and the occasional Greek music playing in the distance which only enhanced the experience. If you enjoy the quieter life this is a place i would highly recommend

Les photos sont la réalité!

Un logement en tout point exemplaire, une vue magnifique et des hĂŽtes trĂšs prĂ©venants sans ĂȘtre omniprĂ©sents (bien que sur place). Katie et Chris ont repondu a nos demandes soit directement soit par messagerie en quelques minutes Ă  chaque fois. Le seul petit bĂ©mol ne vient pas de l'habitation mais de l'Ăźle elle-mĂȘme (et comme beaucoup d'Ăźles que nous avons faĂźtes), ce sont les distances a parcourir avec une vitesse limitĂ©e et des petites routes (mis a part la route nommĂ©e "90", la seule nationale de l'Ăźle). Pour la location par contre rien a dire c'est le top!

Peace & tranquility

This place isn’t for everyone, which doesn’t mean I’m putting this place down, quite the opposite. If you love animals, especially cats, then come here (if you don’t like cats then don’t visit Greece!). If you love to be off the beaten track, but still close enough to not be totally cut off, then come here. If you want the option of being left to your own devices and I mean totally, no room service, no towel changes while you nap etc come here. We enjoyed the solitude, no noises bars, the long walks through rural villages, the peace and quiet (apart from the dogs, birds, goats etc) the lovely local villages with great Tavernas and warm welcomes. Yes this suited us perfectly and we are looking at returning soon, and WE NEVER do that to any place that we’ve visited before !

Paradies fĂŒr Mensch und Miezen

Super schönes Haus mit tollem Pool. Kathy und Chris sind liebevolle und aufmerksame Gastgeber. Man sollte Katzen lieben, so wie eigentlich ĂŒberall in Griechenland. Besonders aber dort. Wir haben neben Kathy und Chris auch alle anderen Bewohner wie Alfi, Dave, Arthur, Chlotilde und besonders Minnie ins Herz geschlossen. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Entspannung pur

Wir (Ehepaar Mitte 50) haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt und die Ruhe im House of the sun tat uns sehr gut. Die Unterkunft (Wohnung und rund ums Haus sowie der Pool waren einzigartig. Kathie uns Chris waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Der Hauskater Alfi hat uns viele Schmunzelmomente beschert.

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub auf Kreta

Tolle Ferienwohnung mit allem eingerichtet was man im Urlaub braucht. Wunderschöne Anlage mit Pool. Sehr schöne Aussicht ĂŒber das Tal. Tavernen und Supermarkt in 5 Min mit dem Auto oder in 25 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit halten sich aber sehr im Hintergrund. Ausgangspunkt fĂŒr Wanderungen. Wir werden wiederkommen

Nous avons passĂ©, avec mes deux enfants, un trĂšs bon sĂ©jour. IdĂ©alement placĂ© entre La CannĂ©e et Rethymnon, nous avons pu visiter la rĂ©gion et profiter d’une trĂšs belle piscine. What a find!

We have just returned home after spending a fantastic, relaxing, 2 weeks with Kathie and Chris at The House in the sun. It really couldn't have been any better. Communication before our trip was spot on with extremely easy directions with pictures sent that made finding the apartment very easy. We arrived in the early hours and were welcomed by Alfie the cat who kept us company for our holiday. Fantastically well equipped, spotless apartment. Fantastic sitting area with amazing views and the pool!
 we spent a lot more time at the pool then we have done on any other holiday as we found it so relaxing. There is a great little village about 5 mins away with a well stocked shop, a great coffee place that do delicious cakes, a gyros shop and a lovely taverna serving amazing food. Lots of beach choices can be found without having to venture too far from base. Kathie and Chris are the perfect hosts with loads of advice available & laughs. We were even treated to a some quiet background music one day while they rehearsed for a gig they had locally that week. Would absolutely not hesitate to recommend the house in the sun to everyone and have already given all the details to a lot of our friends and family. As expected and more

For our trip in Crete we were looking for an easily accessible and central location in the countryside. What is great about the House in the sun is that even if you live among olive, orange and lemon trees, sheeps and goats and enjoy long walks from village to village in a rural environment, you are relatively close to everything by car. The appartement has met our expectations. It was perfect for 2 and had everything you need. Because we travelled early May, we did not use the pool, but we have enjoyed spending time on the private terrace which offers a gorgeous view of the surroundings. Our hosts were also great to interact with and very helpful. And the cats,
we fell in love with them. We highly recommand this place.

Relaxen en zwemmen in een adembenemend uitzicht.

Als je op zoek bent, naar een verblijf voor twee om tot rust te komen, ben je hier aan het juiste adres. Het uitzicht is prachtiger dan op de foto. De architectuur van het zwembad betoverend. Het water van het zwembad zeer verkwikkend op warme dagen zonder chloor, wat wij ten zeerste waarderen voor de gezondheid van je huid. Het appartement was zeer proper en functioneel. Chris en Kathie zijn zeer gastvrij. Ze geven je informatie voor leuke uitstapjes en tips van goede restaurants . We kregen ook een welkomstpakket voeding. We genoten enorm en we komen zeker en vast nog eens terug. B

Traumhafte Ferienwohnung!

Wir hatten eine traumhafte Zeit in dieser wunderschönen Ferienwohnung! Man hat einen einzigartigen Blick, der an die Toskana erinnert. Die Unterkunft bietet alles was man braucht und auch in dem Bett haben wir gut geschlafen. Kathie und Chris sind wunderbar! Ich kann jedem empfehlen dort Urlaub zu machen, man wird garantiert eine tolle Zeit haben! Einfach alles toll! Liebe GrĂŒĂŸe von Jan & Jana

Freundliche Vermieter und sehr schöne Lage

Die Lage ist traumhaft und ruhig. Ein sehr kleines Dörfchen. Alles was man braucht ist in der NĂ€he, Mini-Supermarkt, Taverne, Apotheke und Tankstelle. Zu Fuß 30 Minuten (schöner Abendspaziergang), mit dem Auto 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Auf dem Weg kann man Dorfleben beobachten und schöne Orangen-, Zitronen- und OlivenbĂ€ume betrachten. Kathie und Chris sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Leider funktionierte in unserer Aufenthaltsdauer die Klimaanlage nicht. Ansonsten haben wir unsere Zeit bei Kathie und Chris sehr genossen. Vielen lieben Dank nochmal.
