The upper floor and main entrance area to the house features four bedrooms with large balconies. Villa Oceanus is only a 45-minute drive from the international airport of Chania and the historic Venetian city of Chania, known as \'little Venice\'. Within a couple of minutes walk of the villa there is a shop, coffee shop, bar, and two restaurants in nearby Kokkino Chorio village. Plaka village is a 5-minute drive where you can find supermarkets and numerous restaurants and bars offering local and international cuisine.UPPER FLOOR:Bedroom 1 - A large (18 m2) master bedroom with king bed, ensuite shower room and freestanding oval designer bathtub. This room has access to both shared and private balconies through large sliding terrace windows.Bedroom 2 - A 16 m2 bedroom with king bed (2 twins on request), ensuite shower room and private balcony.Bedroom 3 - A 16 m2 bedroom with king (2 twins on request) and access to a balcony. Shared bathroom with bedroom 3.LOWER FLOOR: A staircase leads down to the main living area and swimming pool level. The spacious interior features a further double bedroom with sofa bed, cinema room, and open-plan kitchen/living area and a guest toilet/shower room (also accessible from the pool area). Bedroom 5 - A 15 m2 bedroom with king, an ensuite shower room and access to the pool and terrace area. The living area overlooks the pool and views across the bay and features spacious seating areas, a TV with satellite channels, and a large dining table. The open-plan Italian luxury kitchen is fully-equipped with built-in oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, juicer, coffee maker, blender, Nespresso machine, and central island with high stools. Two side rooms next to the main kitchen also have further storage cupboards, a microwave, oversized fridge/freezer, sink, washing machine & dryer, drying rack, and ironing board & iron. A large cinema room is located off the main living area. This is designed to be a multipurpose area. It can be used as a cinema room, conference room or can easily be converted to an extra sleeping area with 2 double sofa beds. This room is equipped with a large, 75 inch, flat screen TV, Netflix, PlayStation 4, Amazon Prime, Satellite TV and a wireless printer.POOL AREA: The ground floor accesses the pool, terrace areas, and outdoor dining areas. The 40 m2 swimming pool has a stunning infinity feature where the water cascades over the end of the pool. It features beautiful non-slip mosaic tiles, has a shallow children’s area, and a poolside shower. There is an option for the pool to be heated on request (at additional cost).The very large beautiful outdoor living space includes luxury sunbeds and designer lounge chairs available for the use of guests. A full outdoor dining area and kitchen is situated next to the pool. It has a charcoal BBQ, sink and fridge. The \'Secret Beach\' is a small secluded beach 800 meters from Kokkino Chorio, and the village of Almyrida has a lovely sandy beach and is abundant with seafront restaurants and shops. This beach also offers numerous watersports activities for those guests who are more adventurous, including, diving, paddle boarding, wind surfing and sailing. The villa is perfectly situated between the city of Chania and the large town of Rethymnon and both offer historic charm and are beautiful to visit. We highly recommend a day trip to the world famous beaches and lagoons of Balos and Elafonisi. An hour and a half away, these spectacular areas are recognized as being among the top beaches in the world with truly amazing and unique landscapes.
