Amazing experience, midweek offseason, deserted!

What a great find! Gorgeous location on a remote beach a few miles from the nearest village down a rickety cobbled street. We stayed midweek in September, there were perhaps three other rooms of the 48 occupied, we basically had the place to ourselves. This meant they didn't staff either of the two bars, though you could always get a drink if you asked at reception. It also meant personalised breakfast, a bountiful supply of fruits, breads, cakes and savouries, adjusted for any special requirements such as me as a vegetarian. The room was spotlessly clean and well maintained. In fact the maintenance of the whole place was extraordinary - there were usually two or three workers doing maintenance all the time, painting the eves, fixing the lights, mowing the lawn, sweeping the coconut flowers - the place is in phenomenally good condition thanks to the care taken by the property. Pool is nice, again maintained spotlessly. And the beach is lovely, and it's all yours - there's nothing for miles around. No wifi, which is pretty poor in 2018. That's the only complaint I can think of. Service was exemplary, my Brazilian friend said it's way better than you usually get in Brazil. As a same-sex couple we were treated with respect and no hint of prejudice. Just book yourself in here. Stay a few days, relax completely. We loved it.

Excelente localização, funcionários muito prestativos e atenciosos. Café da manhã com muita opção. Um ponto de atenção foi a parte elétrica, tive problema com as tomadas do quarto e sinalizei também sobre o chuveiro que precisaria de uma limpeza na saída da água para que a mesma saia uniforme. Pretendo retornar.

Hotel velho, precisando urgente de uma reforma. Chuveiro não esquentava. Tive que tomar banho frio. Café da manhã sem manteiga. Durante minha recente estadia no hotel, tive uma experiência bastante frustrante logo no início da hospedagem. Ao chegarmos no quarto, percebemos que não havia toalhas disponíveis, o que já causou um primeiro desconforto. Entramos em contato com a recepção imediatamente para solicitar as toalhas, porém, mesmo após a reclamação, elas só foram entregues cerca de uma hora depois. Essa demora comprometeu completamente a nossa programação de viagem, pois dependíamos do banho para sair e cumprir os compromissos que já estavam agendados. Além disso, o ralo do banheiro estava entupido, o que fez com que a água se acumulasse e acabasse se espalhando pelo quarto, molhando grande parte do piso. Isso gerou ainda mais incômodo e tornou o ambiente bastante desconfortável. Infelizmente, esses problemas impactaram negativamente nossa experiência no hotel, especialmente por se tratarem de questões básicas de infraestrutura e atendimento que deveriam ser prontamente resolvidas.

Bem localizado, primeiro quarto que ficamos o ar condicionado estava quebrado, só tinham disponível um quarto com duas camas de solteiro, era uma viagem de casal, mas optamos pelas camas de solteiro pra não dormir no calor, o banheiro não tinha toalha de mão e nem de piso. Só passamos uma noite.
