Bring your boat, paddle boards, kayaks, beach chairs, and fishing poles. This house has it all! Private dock, two private boat ramps, and private beach access with parking. Plenty of places to explore. North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores less than 2 miles away. Eat at one of the many restaurants near by or stay in and cook meals together in one of the two kitchens. Walk out the back door and go fishing right on the dock. Enjoy great sunrises and sunsets on the canal. Dog friendly(one dog), additional fee’s apply.

This property was very nice and well suited for our family of 11…six adults and 5 kids, ages 2-7. There was plenty of room for all of us to sleep comfortably with each adult couple (3) having their own room and a room for all the kids. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need (other than kitchen towels). The living area hosted a very large sectional sofa and one chair that gave us plenty of space for everyone to sit. I would have to say the only drawback is there is only enough seats and room at the kitchen table for six people to sit for a house that sleeps 12. There is an eight seating table on the bottom deck however that did not serve us well as it rained three days out of our week stay but we made it work. The one huge plus for us was the amply spaced driveway and parking area. We had three full sized trucks, 2 trailers for our golf carts and a boat trailer that we needed to park. There was space for everything and we even left a good portion of the driveway clear for the kidddos to ride their bikes and play. There was a large dock and a floating dock on the canal at the back of the house that was perfect for us to fish off, dock our boat and tie up our 12 foot splash pad. It is also just across the road from the private beach with its own card keyed parking lot. This property is a gem.

Family Vacation

Our stay was perfect! We all loved the house and its location. Boat dock and nearby boat ramp was great. Beach area was very nice and short walk from the house. We hope to stay again next year.

Fabulous accommodations and memories

We had several family members in from Missouri to Germany for our nieces wedding at the Aquarium. There were several homes rented, but ours immediately became the gathering spot! What memories with Great grandparents to the grandchildren; this Opa and Oma were in joy. So close to the private beach and everyone enjoyed watching the boats coming in and out the canal from the deck and reading.their names. Plenty of room to gather inside, as well as, upper and lower decks. We would highly recommend this gem!

Wonderful house and location!

This house exceeded expectations. Comfortable, spacious and well-stocked. Convenient location to lots of area attractions. We chose it so we could bring our boat, and the floating dock on the canal was perfect to tie up all week. The neighborhood boat ramp is close and easy, and the location is great. We cruised to Morehead, Beaufort, and even Cape Lookout. Owner is helpful, friendly, and very responsive to answering questions. Would definitely book this house again!

The Mystic Pelican is located in a great neighborhood walking distance to the beach and a short drive to shopping and restaurants. The house is well maintained with comfortable accommodations. Great place I would stay there again.

Staycation

Great place! The owner/s were very responsive and sweet as well as the local neighbors. Our favorite part of the house was fishing off the dock and the park access keys to watch the sunset 🌅 we definitely recommend as a local to the area

Long weekend

Nice location for a long weekend with the family! The space was nice, i liked that the younger couples could be downstairs in their own space with the older grandparents on the main floor, not having to deal with stairs.
