Am solo traveller, asked re tv only 3 channels and was moved to the other side of building, which gave better reception and all channels and a better view. Good room not so quiet, slamming doors, but all in all room was great. Glad of aircon as Auckland is chilly in June. Would recommend staying at Ibis to fellow travellers. I stayed 5 nights.
I booked this hotel including breakfast. This hotel has no restaurant/dining place inside the hotel. Hotel will give you breakfast voucher to go outside the to other restaurant. You have to walk through the street even it's cold ,raining or bad weather.
Hotel charge $20.00 for breakfast.
You can take breakfast same restaurant which cost you $12.00.
I will not stay this hotel again .
I will not recommend this hotel as well since staff not friendly.
The property was in a great location for us, not far for all the places we wanted to see. Room was clean and you could ask for pots and pans as needed. Parking could've been explained better at the front desk and perhaps also on Expedia but we did manage to sort it without too much hassle.
the service here is equal to a lot of the big hotels if not better. The young man on reception on sunday i would rate a ten out of ten for service. The rooms are always clean and all you need for staying in auckland. Thanks to the team at the IBIS.
Location great for walking to cruise port. Also, we had eight days before cruise so hotel convenient for public transportation, shopping, restaurants, grocery stores.

Good location, typical city noises, get what you pay for
The room was quiet small and a small fridge in the room was continuously running which I did tell management but they seem very little interested, I did like the reception aria seating and coffee, microwave facilities
It’s budget, so just expect that!
Staff are helpful and happy to assist
rooms are very small but hey you get what you pay for! Don’t expect luxury, just a room and wetroom ensuite
