Welcome to your home base in Austin! This 2-bedroom house sleeps up to 4 guests and puts you close to parks, trails, and central Austin attractions.



The Space:

Settle into a comfortable, easygoing stay ideal for couples, friends, or business travelers. The home sleeps 4 across two private bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom for added privacy. You’ll have fast WiFi, a laptop-friendly workspace, and smart TVs in both bedrooms so you can stream your favorites with your own accounts.

Bedroom 2 opens to the patio, and a garden/backyard offers a pleasant spot to step outside for some fresh air. On-site laundry keeps longer stays simple, and private driveway parking for one vehicle makes coming and going a breeze.

Parking: One parking space is provided in the driveway. Please park closer to the house rather than the middle of the driveway.

Check in is at 4:00 PM and checkout is at 10:00 AM. We cannot guarantee or approve early check in or late checkout requests in advance.

We recommend considering travel insurance, just in case any unexpected changes come up. We do stick to our cancellation policy and want to make sure you're covered!

We provide bedding, towels and a small starter set of essentials to help get you settled. Feel free to message us for details on what’s included.

Getting Around:

Location logistics: Within about a 5-minute drive, you can explore Pease District Park (including Kingsbury Commons), Westenfield Neighborhood Park, Reed Neighborhood Park’s nature trails and creek, the scenic Shoal Creek Trail, and the Austin Recreation Center with gym and sports facilities. These are public amenities not managed by our team; availability and access are subject to local operations.

Despite the smoke detector battery going off at 3:06 am the first night, the stay went well. Mangement company was very responsive and battery replaced by 7:45am. The cottage itself is very nice, owners should declutter and remove items from closets. Furniture in back bedroom a bit rickety, bed frame squeaks each time you roll over.

The cottage is beautifully decorated, the host was responsive, and we thorughly enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent in terms of UT, downtown, Lamar Blvd, Congress Ave, I35 to the east and Hwy 1, North and South, to the west. Finding it is not difficult if you slow down and look for the driveway in between 1205 and 1207.

It was lovely - very clean, well appointed. They have some very interesting art. Feels very private and secluded even though it’s in such a densely populated area. It's very close to downtown, with easy access to great restaurants, coffee shops, Whole Foods, the Capitol, and UT. The cottage is tricky to find -- fortunately, we used Google Maps street view to detect the teeny alley, which is the driveway off the main road. I ended up dealing with an external rental agency with very strict rules -- for example, one of our travelers experienced a sudden death in the family, and we were unable to reschedule our stay without losing the full rental price.

Lovely well-appointed cottage in a good location. Host graciously let us enter earlier in the day and was quite responsive when we had trouble with the A/C. However, be aware that in order to complete your booking, even after your deposit has gone through, you will be required to upload to a website (not VRBO) three forms of personal identification (picture, driver’s license or passport and birthdate). We are careful to protect our identity and would have booked elsewhere had we known in advance that this would be required.

Beautiful, new on the inside, immaculate cottage. So hard to find (wrong numbers on street post) but well worth the effort. Super comfortable, cool. Owners thought of everything. Amazing kitchen, zen garden and super comfortable beds. Can't wait to go back!

Difficult to locate

Great location, though EXTREMELY difficult to find. I come to Austin often and know that area very well and still was difficult to find even using google maps. Hidden down an unmarked alley. Property was clean and well stocked with essentials.

Charming cottage in nice part of town

The cottage is well decorated with updated bathrooms and comfortable beds. Only one parking space, and finding it is a challenge. But once you are there, it has nice outdoor and indoor seating and is well set up. My extended family rented a mansion with swimming pool across Enfield, and it had a lot more street noise. This place is tucked in about 3/4 of a block down an alley. Very clean, and I’m picky.
