The Space:

Welcome to this stylish and comfortable 2-story home, thoughtfully designed for relaxation and entertainment. On the first floor, you'll find a cozy living room equipped with a comfortable couch, TV, record player, and a selection of board games—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring Austin. There's also a dedicated desk for those who need space to work, making this home ideal for both leisure and productivity. The open-concept kitchen provides all the essentials for preparing meals, and a convenient half bathroom is located just off the living area.



Step outside to the expansive backyard that wraps around the house, offering multiple spaces to relax and enjoy. At the front, gather around the firepit with friends or family, or lounge on the artificial grass in the hammock. The life-sized yard games add a playful touch to your outdoor experience. Further back, you'll find ample seating for dining al fresco or just relaxing, along with a BBQ grill ready for cookouts.

Please be aware that access to the property requires navigating a narrow alley, which may not be suitable for larger cars or trucks. Additionally, the driveway is compact, so we recommend smaller vehicles for ease of access.

Well stocked for our stay, clean, and prepared. Centrally located to downtown, close to trendy bars. Wonderful fenced courtyard w fire pit and grill. Complaints: The beds were sub par with thin mattresses, and creaky beds. Surrounding Street was sketchy with vacant houses, homeless presence, and broken down cars. Mattresses and trash piled on the sidewalks and alley. Alley and entry parking was extremely tight.

Once we found the rather hidden location and conquered the challenges of parking in the narrow space, we were pleasantly surprised by the rest of the property. The house was very comfortable and just right for the 3 of us, older couple and adult son. The two bedrooms each had their own private bathroom upstairs, and a half-bath downstairs. The yard was an excellent feature, especially for the lovely Austin fall weather. Private and quiet, surrounded by high fench. The front yard had a firepit (shown in the photo), a spacious side yard with hammock, and a great space at the back with table and relaxing seats on a patio next to the propane grill. There was also a small covered porch at both the front and back doors. We very much enjoyed our stay at this property.The security deposit was a surprise. Be sure to inquire about it.

Girls weekend

Overall, the place was good. The inside was as pictured, the beds were comfortable, and the inside was clean. The owner was super responsive and helpful. The location was close to a lot of cool places to eat and shop. It was a bit tight for 5 people to hang out downstairs, probably better for 4 or less people. We couldn’t park in the garage as there was furniture and boxes in it, so some of us had to park on the street. The outside was not quite as manicured as the pictures show. Overall, a nice stay and we enjoyed it.

Everything about this place was nice. The only issue was the parking since it’s in an ally, it was hard to get into and only room for one vehicle. You have to park on the side street and walk.

Wonderful home!

The house was very comfortable, spacious and nicely decorated.. The beds and pillows were excellent and everything felt very clean. The yard area was very nice but we didn’t use it since it was very hot and humid but we would like to come back and enjoy it in cooler months. The neighborhood was great with lots of nearby coffee, breweries and restaurants and it was within walking distance. We also rented bikes for a day and ride along the river path. My only comment would be that the kitchen was not equipped with things I have had at other properties I have stayed at such as coffee, tea, seasonings etc… so if you plan on cooking and eating at home you would need to pick up these items however we went out everyday so this was not an issue for us. I would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Austin! A fabulous stay!

We enjoyed being able to walk to a number of bars and restaurants. The property worked great for us. It was a little different accessing the property from the alley instead of the street, but it worked just fine.

Great stay!

House was clean and perfect size for me and my daughter! Convenient location in a safe neighborhood. A couple of things to consider: like other reviewers mentioned, house is only accessible through a back alley and driveway is just a little tight. Also, only TV is downstairs in the living room. Still would recommend and would stay here again!

Gem in convenient East Austin!

This property was soooooooo cute! We loved the outdoor space - especially the fire pit as we had some cool evenings! East Austin has a lot to offer within walking distance. It’s a very up and coming area. You can walk to Rainey St./downtown from here, safely, in about 40 minutes. The communication with the owner was excellent. Ubers were easily had from the home as well. We loved our long weekend in this rental! Book ASAP and enjoy Austin!

Good jumping off point for E Austin

The property itself was a little tricky to find at night (down a side street) but the location was great for the occasion (wedding activities around East Austin). We came on an exceptionally cold weekend and the house was warm and had no issues. Super clean.
