We have implanted the house so that it would be totally away from the eyes. The pool is surrounded by nature, with flowers blooming all year round. The fruits from the garden are a delicacy for all (figs, prunes). The hens will give you their extra fresh organic eggs every morning !

The garden is enclosed but has no gate. The house is located at the end of a private cul-de-sac serving only two homes. Access to the garden is secured by a small gate with hatch that can be locked.
"La Maison du Bonheur" is the last house at the end of the private cul-de-sac (so no traffic near the house! ;-)
All bedrooms are equipped with mosquito nets, allowing you to sleep with the windows openâno need for chemical mosquito repellents.
INDIVIDUAL AIR CONDITIONING in all 3 upstairs bedrooms as well as in the Independent Studio.
Air conditioning is also available in the living/dining room.
Only the ground-floor bedroom of the house does not have air conditioning. It stays naturally cool thanks to its position at the back of the house and benefits from the living roomâs air conditioning.
However, if you prefer to live without air conditioning, "La Maison du Bonheur" makes it easy! Enjoy the cool summer breezes thanks to the altitude (380m) and the privileged environment surrounded by forests and nature. Youâll avoid the scorching heat of the coast.

Please tidy the house before your departure: dishes done, kitchens cleaned, oven and planchas clean, fridge emptied, trash taken out, toys and games put away.
HOUSE LAYOUT:
4 double bedrooms in the house:
-> 1 ground-floor double bedroom (double bed 160x200, no bed frame)
-> 1 upstairs double bedroom (double bed 180x200)
-> 1 upstairs triple bedroom (double bed 140x200, no bed frame + 1 single bed)
-> 1 upstairs bedroom with two single beds 80x190 (The twin beds can be pushed together to form a double bed 160x190 with a memory foam mattress topper added for your comfort). A third single bed can be added to this room if needed, but it will then be more of a dormitoryâno extra space for anything else. The extra bed is a trundle bed suitable for a child (up to 12 years only)!
2 separate WCs: 1 on the ground floor with sink, and 1 upstairs without sink.
2 full bathrooms: 1 on the ground floor (glass-block shower 140x90, sink, under-sink cabinet, bidet)
1 upstairs (corner bathtub, sink, under-sink cabinet, large storage)
1 full shower room in the studio: large shower, sink, and WC
THE HOUSE can accommodate 8/9 people,
THE INDEPENDANT STUDIO can accommodate a couple + 1 child, depending on age.

Please specify the exact number of vacationers, as the quote provided will depend on whether or not you need to use the independent studio.
If you indicate fewer than 8 vacationers, the studio is not included in your quote.
If you are 11 vacationers, the studio will automatically be part of your reservation, and there will be no additional cost to include it!
ROOM LAYOUT IN THE HOUSE:
Ground floor:
Entrance, hallway separated from the entrance by a door leading to the double bedroom, bathroom, and separate WC.
Dining room (table for 12) opens directly onto the garden.
Living room with corner sofa, small 2-seater sofa, wood stove, and TV.
Independent kitchen with snack area for 3/4 people opens directly onto a covered terrace (20mÂČ) facing the pool. The terrace is equipped with two large wrought-iron tables for 12.
Upstairs:
3 bedrooms, 1 separate WC, 1 bathroom with corner bathtub (shower head and curtain) and sink.
Large walk-in closets in bedrooms 1, 2, and 3. Small wardrobe in bedroom 4.
STUDIO LAYOUT:
1 double bed 140cm with no bed frame and storage under the bed (storage bed)
On the mezzanine: a small double bed 120cm wide (mattress on slatted base with very small bed legs) suitable for an adult or a child over 6 years old (mezzanine sleeping is prohibited in France for children under 6)
Attention: The mezzanine does not allow you to stand upright, but it provides comfortable sleeping.
Shower room (large shower 120cmx80) with WC and simple sink.
Kitchen area in the main studio room (fridge, grill oven, 2-burner induction hob) with cookware, kettle, toaster, coffee maker.
The studio has its own private terrace (table and chairs for 4, sun loungers, garden armchairs) Connected TV for streaming your favorite platforms.
Air conditionning
If you are interested in using the bicycles during your stay, please be so kind as to mention this during your reservation as we need to make sure they are in good shape for your use, prior to your arrival.

The house is near everything ! A small supermarket open 7/7 with gas station is only 500 meters away. The village is only a two minutes car ride away. There you will find two bakeries, some restaurants, bars, a small open air market, a chemist, doctors, nurses, the school, the Office of Tourism and charging stations for your electric vehicles.
The Hyper-markets are at 15 minutes car ride (SuperU, Intermarché, Leclerc).
In Bagnols-en-ForĂȘt on top of all the local shops and restaurants is a tiny open air market that takes place every Wednesday and Saturday mornings.
And for local food lovers, a 'Marché Paysan' (a market gathering regional producers) is just a 15 minute drive away, offering organic meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, wine, olive oil, honey, flowers⊠a real treat for your taste buds!
The large open air market in Fayence (another beautiful village to be visited) is held every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday morning in front of the Church.
