The place is so far from the city center. The pictures online are beautiful. So we checked in..the place feels spooky. The room smells musty as we got inside the room..there is only one outlet that the TV is plugged in..there is an outlet located in the bathroom and that is where we plugged our cellphones… the edges of the floor has so much dust.. I wonder if they even sweep the floor. The towels smelled mildew.. this place is a disaster… the bedsheets has stains in it. Since we checked in at around 9pm.. I went back to the reception but there is no one there. The next morning for breakfast, we were served plated breakfast with a scoop of rice, 1egg over easy, a piece of lunch meat and 2 pieces of sausage, a coffee served on a disposable cup…who eats this stuff!! I do not eat processed food. For the price we’ve paid I think this place should be phased out.

The staff easily makes the stay at this dated hotel the saving grace for their efficiency, helpfulness and respectfulness. Ridgewood is nicely located but it needs some remodeling. They could also address the ridiculously slow, and on and off wifi service.
