Red Cherry Woods Cottage - New Construction!

If what matters most is spending time together in a beautiful, serene location far from everyday troubles, pack your bags, and invite your significant other, another couple or a couple of friends, to join you for some R & R in our modern Door County cottage. The quiet wooded retreat awaits: custom-built, elegant living space, warm hospitality, with stylish designer amenities and all the comforts of home.

The Home
We'll provide everything you'll need for a pleasant and relaxing stay.
First floor: king bedroom, open kitchen / living area, bathroom and laundry room
Upstairs: a second king bedroom
* Tastefully decorated interior
* Soaring vaulted ceilings allow the sunlight to flood the main living area
* Bluetooth speakers
* Double patio doors that lead to the outdoors
* Large sundeck overlooking the woods for either dining or relaxing outdoors
* Amenities and thoughtful touches that show we truly care about the comfort and quality of your stay
This makes for the perfect Door County hideaway for a couple, a small family or a solo adventurer.

The Location
Located 1.7 miles from downtown Bailey's Harbor, enjoy a popular destination on the "quiet side" of the peninsula along the shores of Lake Michigan.
* Set in the sleepy woods just outside of Bailey's Harbor
* Three minute car ride, thirty minute walk or five minute bike ride takes you into town to visit :
Cana Island Lighthouse, hike at the Ridges Sanctuary, the village park, marina, beach, boutiques, restaurants, brewery, winery, bike/kayak rentals, ice cream / coffee shops, Sunday farmer's market and more.
* Centrally located on the peninsula making visits to all of Door County's most popular little towns: Sister Bay, Ephraim, Fish Creek, and Egg Harbor all within a short drive (5-15 min).

* We extend a warm welcome to all guests in our home. Please do not attempt to violate the basic house rules related to: occupancy, pets, smoking or parties etc. and put us all in an uncomfortable position. If you have a question about house rules please ask.

This is a wonderful cottage and it was just perfect for the two of us. Owner is very nice, excellent communication, and was so easy to work with. The cottage is exceptionally clean and has all of the supplies you need for a short stay. Bed was very comfortable, plenty of towels and paper products. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you!

This cabin was one of the nicest we'd ever stayed in. The house was fully stocked with everything you need and also had coffee pods or packages. There are ceiling fans in each room, and a sound system hooked up to the TV or you can hook it up to your phone to play music. The huge windows give you wonderful natural light. We would definitely stay again!!

Beautiful cottage, loved the view out the master bedroom window, bottle of wine was a nice touch! Overall, we loved this place and would absolutely stay again.Three things I need to mention considering the level of expectation at this price point in the off season: Quite a bit of driveway gravel on the floor throughout when we arrived (we always take our shoes off at the door so it was not us). Of the six clocks inside the cottage only one was accurate, five others we all set to comletely different random times. We reset three of them. And finally, the snow on the deck. This was the only true disappointment for us. I know there was a recent blizzard (we got 30 inches at home as well), but it was at least 10 days before we arrived and still wasn't cleared at all. When we arrived it was a 1-2 ft tall solid ice block. We were really looking forward to sitting out by the fireplace on the deck and brought steaks to grill. We were barely able to clear enough for two chairs around the fire before we gave up. Grill was inaccessible. By the time of our arrival it absolutley should have been cleared.

The property itself was fantastic and incredibly well equipped We especially appreciated that the kitchen was so well-stocked, making it easy for us to settle in and cook a full meal on our first night.The host was exceptionally thoughtful and provided a wealth of local resources, including excellent recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. This truly enhanced our experience.Beyond the great amenities, the setting was simply beautiful. We had a wonderful stay this weekend! The property was perfect and beautiful—exactly what we needed for a relaxing mini honeymoon. It was well-equipped with everything we could ask for, and I especially loved the built-in wall speakers, such a great touch. The area was peaceful and calm, which made our time there even more enjoyable. The host was nice and did a great job with communication. The only thing to note is that there is another house right next to the property, so it wasn’t as private as we initially thought. Overall, though, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it!
