The West Highland Way is easily joined and you can follow part of it along the shore surrounded by breath-taking scenery. Explore the loch on the water with a cruise and visit the many islands or hire your own boat and take a picnic for a day on the water. Ideal for a day out and within easy driving distance, Loch Lomond Shores has a sea life aquarium, water sports, shops, restaurants and regularly hosts events. The cosmopolitan city of Glasgow can be reached in under an hour. The city centre is just packed with places to eat, drink, shop as well as theatres, tourist attractions and historic buildings.
