The sheets literally did not fit on the bed, it was very tacky. And even though the surrounding scenery and the lobby is very nice, the condition/presentation of the rooms are very much outdated. They are in desperate need of a renovation, especially considering their prices and rates

Great views, great location, great staff. Right beside the National aquarium, 7 Foot Knoll Lighthouse, and Historic Ships to tour. Amazing food everywhere including McCormick & Schmick’s and Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse onsite with the Hard Rock Cafe, and Phillips right next door.

The location was great, but the hotel and the rooms were a little run down, and noise really traveled between the rooms. We could hear conversations in the room next door. We were also surprised that $30 would be charged to check in even an hour before the established check-in time of 4PM. The shower heated up quickly and had good water pressure but was obviously made for shorter people. I had to squat down to get my head under the shower. Although we did not attend, the hotel had a kind of happy hour in the lobby, which was a nice touch,

Most of my complaints have little to do with the Pier 5 hotel whose staff were helpful. The hotel does have an odd vibe because it felt empty, but the room was fine, had good WiFi, and had all that I needed for a short trip. Getting food in the early morning and late night is not easy in this area, unless you want something from a big box food chain or 7Eleven. The hotel did have a very good breakfast and weekend brunch (excellent shrimp and grits on the Saturday brunch hot bar!).

I loved that it was right next to the aquarium and a short, easy walk to Camden Yards. The lady who helped me at the check in station was AWESOME. I saw her 3 different times, and each time she made me smile and took good care of me. The people in the room next to me stayed up all night. They were so loud. Not the hotels’s fault, but it was a bummer.
