Head into the centre of Bamburgh (less than 0.5 miles) to explore its quaint boutiques, galleries, and gift shops, or perhaps pop into the Grace Darling Museum to learn about the village’s fascinating past. After a potter around, enjoy lunch in one of the cosy pubs or cafes. Bamburgh Castle sits high on the clifftop, and is a must-visit for history enthusiasts. Enjoy relaxing strolls along the shoreline of Bamburgh Beach, or join the Northumberland Coast Path for a bracing hike with breathtaking views. The colourful fishing village of Seahouses is 3 miles away and offers boat trips to the Farne Islands. Other nearby days out include the Holy Island of Lindisfarne (16 miles) and the historic town of Alnwick (17 miles).

The cottage is decorated in a contemporary style, with neutral tones, sumptuous soft furnishings, and a collection of gorgeous accessories. After a day at the coast, sink into the plump sofa in the lounge to warm your toes by the wood burner and catch up on your favourite series on the Smart TV. This room leads through to the open-plan kitchen/diner, with its pastel-coloured units and wooden worktops, along with everything needed for a self-catered holiday. There’s also a large, wooden dining table nestled next to the dual-aspect wood burner. Upstairs, discover two elegantly styled bedrooms; choose from a fabulous king-size or an inviting twin. Both bedrooms have ample storage for all your holiday attire. A refreshing shower room completes the accommodation.

Outside, the enclosed garden is a sunny spot with a lawned area that’s ideal for four-pawed guests, as well as bench seating and furniture for al fresco dining. The cottage has on-street parking, subject to availability.
