Barndominium on the Bourbon Trail - Hot Tub and Horses! Dog and Horse friendly!

Welcome to our farm! Enjoy 34 acres of rolling hills and woods with beautiful views of horses and wildlife. We are located 1 mile from the BG Parkway giving you easy access to all the FUN Kentucky has to offer.

After a full day of FUN, come back and relax in the hot tub, sit by the fire, or go for a walk on the trails in our woods. We have it ALL!

Like to travel with your dog? Bring them along! We offer additional dog care services including feeding, playtime and long walks around the farm. **One dog policy with pet fee required.**

Horses are welcome too! Stalls and pastures are available for rent. Trail riding available in the area includes Shaker Village, Masterson Station Park, Taylorsville Lake, Logan Hubble Park, and Green River Stables. Contact me today for more information.

Don't own a horse but still want to ride? No problem! Horse experiences can be added to your stay. Several levels of lessons are available.

Talon säännöt

Entering pastures, feeding or petting the horses without an owner present is prohibited.
Dogs are not allowed in the pastures and must be controlled/supervised while outside to ensure their safety. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture.
Inventory is taken before and after each stay. Contact owner if something should break. DO NOT throw it away or we will assume it has been stolen.

We enjoyed our stay. The farm dogs were our son’s favorite part of the stay. My wife and I enjoyed the hot tub and everything else about the accommodations. Nicole went the extra mile to put out a food and water station for our dog. Overall it was a great experience.

Far exceeded our expectations. The hosts were more than accommodating and made us feel very welcome. The property was spotless, check-in and check-out was flawless. Our fur baby was not only welcome but fresh water was waiting for her in a dog bowl when we arrived! The hosts checked on us to make sure we were comfortable. Their property was in the perfect location, close to everything but far enough away that it was peaceful and relaxing. We look forward to going back!

The Best of Both Worlds

I want to thank Nicole and TJ for an incredible (and last minute) vacation for myself, my partner and our Corgi puppy!This location is ideal for those who equally want a relaxing stay and a little adventure. We were far away enough from the city that you could see a million of stars at night but 5 minutes away from local stores and the bourbon trail.If that wasn't enough our dog was not only welcome, but celebrated and fit right in on the farm. The accommodations and quick communication from the owner was so appreciated.Thank you for some great memories!

Great location; feels like home!!

An immaculately clean, spacious, and well-appointed place with horses in the pastures and picturesque sunrises and sunsets. Perfect for the 2 of us and our dog, but room for more. Nicole and TJ were so welcoming and helpful. Their dogs played with ours, and we were able to venture off for the day by taking advantage of Nicole’s dog care service. Close proximity to distilleries, Keeneland, and Lexington. We hope to visit again!

Felt just like home!

Nicole and TJ are amazing and super friendly! Their property is so clean and the barndominiun has everything you could ask for and things you didn’t even think of! The hot tub was perfect and the quietness of the country felt so good - way better than any hotel! Karl was the friendliest dog and the horses were great to see! Definitely would recommend staying here and we plan to come back again!

Warm hospitality

My wife and I were in town for a music festival for a couple of days before continuing onto an extended road trip. Nicole and TJ (and Carl) were super cool and treated our dog like family while we were at the concert. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Great star gazing. The barndominium was very clean, comfortable, and well appointed with lots of special touches. We loved our time here.

40th birthday weekend!

Amazing location for 2 couples to stay and celebrate a 40th birthday weekend. Lots of distilleries around the area, several cute towns to explore and eat good food. Plus the property was beautiful, clean and had excellent amenities. We really enjoyed the hot tub, and patio. Karl, the family dog was an enthusiastic and welcome visitor. Nicole was very prompt and attentive to all our questions before and during the stay! We also enjoyed running down Gilbert’s CreekRd. It was surprisingly peaceful and beautiful! I would come again! Country Oasis

Our little group booked this place to visit the local horse races and enjoy a weekend away. It was an easy drive with many other fun things close by. The place was very clean, organized, and probably the most well equipped rental I’ve ever stayed at! We were able to enjoy the fire pit and the hot tub easily and thoroughly enjoyed the owner’s dog, Carl, getting to play with our golden retriever! Highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to the area and hope we can return eventually!

Great Experience!

The Barndominium was amazing and the perfect size for our family. It had everything we needed for our stay. Great location, in the country but near everything. Such a personal experience, meeting the horses Jake, Dexter, and Fred and their dog Karl. We loved the visits from Karl. Enjoyed the hot tub in the evening as well. Nicole was fantastic and so easy to work with. We will definitely stay here again!!

We absolutely loved staying on the farm! The house was exactly what we needed and the location is perfect if you are checking out the different distilleries. Plus it’s a great bonus having a couple of animals to hang out with. We will definitely be returning.

Bourbon Trail Adventure

Enjoyed a lovely visit on the Bourbon Trail! The Barndominium was perfectly appointed. They thought of all the little touches to make staying with our dog so easy and relaxing! Dog bowls, basket of towels, flashlight for nighttime walkies…. all readily available! We will definitely stay there again and highly recommend!!!

Weekend away

We had such a lovely time at the farm! We were in town for the weekend for a wedding at Buffalo trace, and this location provided the perfect little getaway for my family and dog. We loved giving pets to Karl and Molly and seeing the horses. Highly recommend!
