Happy!

The most comfortable beds we slept in during our week long vacation to and from Arizona. No joke! Plus check out is noon! An hour makes such a difference. This is now our stopping spot whether going north to Vegas or south to San Bernadino. Plenty of restaurants to choose from... Our favorite was Black Bear Diner. The waitresses were a hoot, and the Pot Roast melt was the best.

Lies, lies, lies

Wanted a room with a whirlpool. Was told that I would have to upgrade. Was assured by the front desk staff that everything would be ready. At front desk check-in, I was informed that all whirlpool bathtubs were out of order and have been for sometime now. I even used $78.00 OneKeyCash to pay days earlier. Too late to cancel. Offered $125 in OneKeyCash that I never got. Whatโ€™s happened Hotel.com? I remember when you would stand behind your product.

Finding location when/if not arriving from L.A.

Somewhat confusing to located "in Barstow" when arriving from the west (Bakersfield). Plenty of dining options in this area which was somewhat south of where we thought we would find Barstow.

Walked into hotel. No one at desk. Rang bell waited several minutes before a man walked out talking on his phone. I could tell it was a personal call. He kept the phone on the counter and continued talking while checking us in. That aggravated me. Call them back!!! Itโ€™s a clean hotel with a comfy bed, comfy sheets clean towels. Breakfast had good options. Waffles eggs sausage cereal pastries. The breakfast attendant had a hard time keeping stuff full. Several people had to go into the kitchen to ask for refills. She kept disappearing. She would be gone so long that the lights would go out in the kitchen. A second person showed up but she just filled her personal coffee thermos and brought sausages out once then disappeared. Great hotel. Staff just needs to be more attentive
