Upon arriving, we thought our stay would be great and extended our stay for two extra nights. On the third day, it went from great to HORRIBLE. We were leaving for the day when the cleaning lady arrived. She asked if she could come in to clean, we agreed and within two minutes, we were out the door. When we returned, all she had done was remove our used towels and trash. She did not make the bed nor clean anything. We arrived back again after dinner and went to sleep, but woke up around 1:30 because it was so hot in our room. That's when we discovered the AC was broken. We called the main number and were offered NO APOLOGY, only told that there was no maintenance on call and we had to wait until 7:00. At 7:10, we called again to find out why no one had called us at 7 to arrange fixing. We were told no one would be here until 8. At 8, we called again and were told that the manager would be contacted. We waited, no manager, nothing. We went to the front desk. The response was "oh, no!" and were told that the manager wouldn't be in until 9 (no apology again). We asked the clerk to call the manager. He flat out refused. We asked when the maintenance was coming to fix it. "He's out sick today." We asked to be switched to another room. Nope. None available. We are sitting here in a holding pattern in a hot room. We slept unsafely with the balcony doors open and have bug bites all over us as that was the only choice we had.
