The Jungle House - Bingil Bay

Perched high on the side of the mountain at Bingil Bay you will find The Jungle House – peaceful tranquility, deep in the tropical rainforest with the most stunning panoramic views across Bingil Bay and north to the Barnard Islands. Just 10 minutes drive north along the coastal road from Mission Beach, you will find the picturesque village of Bingil Bay. To access this peace of paradise you will require either an ALL WHEEL DRIVE or 4 WHEEL DRIVE.  A sedan or motorhome will not be able to access should there be inclement weather.  Winding up the steep driveway through the forest you will be greeted by the local native wildlife with Tree Kangaroos, Cassowary’s and tropical birdlife abundant. Once at the top you will find yourself in absolute luxurious seclusion. The covered car parking and entry take you through to the living area, deck and master suite, all on one level which makes unpacking a breeze. As you make your way through to the spacious deck area with outdoor lounge and dining space, you will be stunned by the jaw dropping views across the pool below and out across the rainforest to the Coral Sea. The king master bedroom and ensuite enjoy the same views, so there will be no need to hop out of the beautiful 4 poster bed to relax and soak up this tropical paradise. BINGIL BAY is 4.8 Kms north of Mission Beach Village. The beach at Bingil Bay is very picturesque with fringing coconut trees & considered by many to be the prettiest beachfront in the Mission Beach area. Popular Bingil Bay Café is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days per week. It also sells basic grocery lines. Bicton Hill walk and the walk around to Brookes Beach are a must. The new swimming pool & hydrotherapy pool is located at Mission Beach. The “Dunk and Splash” water play pad is on the foreshore of Wongaling Beach. In Ulysess Park (Opp. Hideaway Caravan Park) there are markets the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month. The Monster Markets are held on the last Sunday of each month from Easter Sunday until November.
