Smith’s island retreat is a unique waterfront experience as it is located on a private lake, on an island. Your cabin is only accessible by water! You will get access to our pontoon and an aluminum fishing boat during your stay. There are 3+ public islands available to explore in the 308 acre lake. It Features a newly remodeled cabin, fire pit, private dock and beach. Master bedroom looks out into the water and has a bathroom. The murphy bed is located in the main living room for sleeping ease but also a large space to enjoy with your family. A single hide-a-bed is located in the porch room looking out into the lake. A newly added hide-a-bed queen bed is located in the spacious living room.

Wake up to the sun on the water. Enjoy the lake during the day and watch the sunsets from the pontoon. The fire pit is large and makes a great night memory with your family. Gas grill and full fridge, plus kitchen cupboard space for all your eating needs. All kitchen utensils included, such as: eating and cooking utensils, pots and pans, cutting board, mixing bowls, plates, cups, toaster, pizza oven, blender, crockpots, and a keurig coffee maker with complimentary k-cups.

You will unlock the gate with a code sent to you. You’ll park at the top of the landing, up to 3 vehicles here. Additional parking on the road. You may unload at the bottom of the hill, but parking is not available at the bottom. Dock and pontoon located at the bottom of the hill here to use while you stay. (You may choose to bring your own boat, but if you do, there is a launch fee for the landing on the north end of the lake)

Lots of great places to eat in the area. Maps and local activity brochures will be posted in the cabin. Walmart, shopping , and tourist attractions in hayward, spooner or rice lake. Small grocery store, coffee/ice cream shop, laundromat, hardware store, and specialty shopping in stone lake 13 minutes away.

Near public ATV/UTV trails. Wifi and internet available for guests. 2 smart TVs to use with your netflix, hulu, disney+, or other subscriptions. A large variety of dvd and blu-ray movies are available. Enjoy board games or cards? 100+ different options.
