Was very noisy with function above. Obviously an issue as there was a note in the room. This wasn’t identified when I booked the room. I would not have chosen a hotel with functions until 1am had I known. Also door wasn’t tight so any noise in the corridor was loud

Heating broken. No mention at reception. Complained, told there was nothing they could do. No alternative heating offered. 0c outside. Heating broken for some time but no effort to inform guests.

The Cube Hotel is beginning to look tired, carpets dirty outside lifts. Our room was hadn't been 'made up' when we had been handed the keys and moved to another room. Unfortunately the heating didn’t work in our room and appeared to be the same throughout the hotel. Not good considering how cold it was outside.

Ice Cube!

The bedroom was stone cold - a little oil fired radiator was in the room (not on on arrival!) but inadequate. The bathroom radiator was also off on arrival. Cob webs on lights and wall paper scratched. The service was friendly and effective. The breakfast coffee was stewed. Breakfast itself was good.

Booked in January. Room was cold and heating wasn't working. Asked staff to check why but nobody came to fix it. Asked for another room but we were told they were fully booked. Staff were apathetic. Requested full refund. Lesson learned. Recommend any other hotel.

Although the hotel is OK the room was freezing cold. When asking to get the heating sorted we were given a tiny electric heater. We also resorted to puting the bathroom towel rail on and leave the door open. After reading up on recent reviews it seems as this has been a problem for some time! There were cracked tiles on the entrance to the bathroom which needed avoiding in bare feet. We were still asked to give a £50 security fee! We should be getting a refund! Despite that the bed was comfortable and would recommend the breakfast but was a bit pricey.

Room with a view was a very nice room. But it was just to cold for us as the heating in the room had broke and was replaced by plug in heaters.
