Weekend stay

We stayed in suite 106. Positives were that the porch and views were very nice. Unit was sunny with big windows. They also provided some food downstairs for a breakfast option (some bananas, oatmeal, and yogurt). Staff helped out by accommodating our late arrival with a self check in. Apartment was spacious but furnishings were a bit tired (especially the bed with a giant dip in the middle) and just rough in general. I was expecting vintage but not holes in the walls/doors, chipped corners, poor paint job, missing light bulbs, painted over water damage, etc. The space was not well cleaned (hair in the bathroom, super dirty baseboards, debris under the couch, etc.). The worst part, however, was the shower. Not sure if it was old pipes, but there was no water pressure unless the cold water was turned on at a pretty high rate. This meant the choice between a cold shower or a warm-ish dribble to stand under. Not ideal. If the post and the price matched the reality I may not have felt disappointed, but the nightly rate should have equated to a nicer space in my experience.

The room was large and nicely decorated. It looked like a one-bedroom apartment. Getting to the room was challenging for me, especially while carrying luggage. I had to go up and down multiple staircases to get to the room. I think this could have been described better on the hotels webpage. I don't think any of the rooms are accessible without going up at least one staircase. I would have preferred a ground level room

The Carrick seems an unbeatable choice for visitors to charming, quirky Bisbee. We have already recommended it to a friend in Phoenix. The front desk staff was friendly and attentive, the hotel's location in town puts shopping and dining options a short walk away, and the suite we had (101) was marvelous: spacious, handsomely and creatively appointed and comfortably luxurious. Easy Parking once you reserved and paid for a spot in their small lot. otherwise parking would be difficult. Nice apartment style stay. Not 5 stars for condition of room 106 because some blinds in the room did not have the twist adjustment wand. Bathroom was cold without a heat source. Alexa there but not set up with wifi. wonderful private deck right off room

We loved staying at the Carrick! We felt like we were staying at a private apartment, not a hotel. Our place was huge including a living room, kitchen, bathroom and a bedroom with a really nice patio with a great view of the mountains and the stars! Very clean and needed nothing... coffee was stocked in the private kitchen which we really appreciated! We are already planning another trip and will defiantly stay at the Carrick again! Highly recommend!
