The property consists of two aristocratic lakeside villas, Villa Aristocratico and Villa Aristocratico 1, dating back to the 18th century. Both have been completely renovated and offer the very best of modern living combined with wonderful fine family legacy furniture. They are securely located, down a quarter mile gated road guarded by a quaint old gate-house, in the midst of seven acres of luxuriant gardens and woods which also surround the Villa Aristocratico 1. For large groups both of these villas can be rented together. The two residences are separated by a small historic harbour flanked by ancient terracotta statues. The owners of the Villa D’Este, one of the most luxurious hotels in the world, have refurnished these two lakeside aristocratic villas, facing the hotel across Lake Como. Upon request and depending on booking availability it is possible to play the eighteen hole, Villa d’Este golf course in Montorfano. Villa Aristocratico offers wonderful walks in the park from where you can reach the Lake Shore Village with its charming square on the harbour, its 17th century church and the village garden with its lovely pergola.
