I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a nice place to stay in the heart of Blowing Rock. Ben was amazing and helped us out with some things we forgot to bring from home. He was super responsive and helpful. Look forward to staying at the Windmoor again.

I have to say I was hesitant to book a hotel without a front desk and only an e-check in. I’m happy to say the experience here was excellent. I was provided with number to a gentleman that was able to assist in all our needs. He was able to check us in much earlier than our set time, and an extra hour later for check out. Location is in the midst of restaurants and shopping. Very walkable to Main Street. Very clean, modern room!l with a fireplace Has the basic amenities. Coffee was unique (tea-bag style) and had to steep. Surprisingly delicious, convenient, and saved a mess for clean up. Steamer available for wrinkly clothes. Hangers are attached to a rod, and a little elevated in a cubby. I had to use a chair to reach it. My husband had to stretch also. I’m 5’2” and he’s 6’ for reference. So with mobility issues maybe they have another room for an option? Shower was huge and separate door for the toilet. So so clean! Very happy with our stay here and the nicest text exchange with staff to help accommodate us.

Spotless. Very clean. King bed was comfortable. Need place to hang coats etc. Im 5 feet 11 inches and almost impossible to reach hangers on rack. You couldnt remove hangers fron rod. Wife is alot shorter with no chance to hang up clothes. Thats the only complaint .

Parking was very easy. Room was extremely clean and comfortable. Staff went above and beyond to take care of us. Location was amazing! Walking distance to everything we cared to visit.

Such a nice, new place. The owner/manager Been was so accommodating and helpful. Right at the downtown so easy to walk places. Enjoyed our short stay. My 1 complaint was the hard bed. Others will like that but with my bad joints, it was not the most comfortable. Overall great, tho.
