The property has only been open for about 6 months as of March 2025 so everything is still very new. The staff and especially Shirley, were very friendly and hardworking. The king room we had, 427, was more than adequate for a few nights. The bed was firm but comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. Diego did a superb job making up our room. Mallory always greeted us with a smile in the morning and pointed out little things around the property like the resident alligators sunbathing in the pond. There were some nice little touches like a bathroom night light and some LED lights on the light switch as you enter the room. However our LED starting blinking and it was like a strobe. I got a piece of black electric tape and ended that problem. I thought the breakfast was adequate and all the food was freshly made and the packaged products were good quality. I think they could go another step higher by having fresh oatmeal rather than microwave oatmeal. The waffle maker is always nice and we appreciated the coffee machine that gave us a cappuccino and other choices. Even though the hotel is easily accessible from 278, we couldn't detect much highway noise. We enjoyed our stay here very much and highly recommend this Best Western .
