Chose this one on price - overnight stay as part of a long touring trip. The room was OK - however the location was awful. I am sure I chose the wrong part of town to stay in - it was bleak and not pleasant. There also seemed to be quite a number of semi-permanent residents - they had their own barbecues going outside their rooms.

Check in was ridiculous. Had to stand at 10:00 pm in the dark outside and check in thru a boarded up window. Crickets and bugs everywhere. Her main concern was did I have a pet. My main concern was am I safe out here. The door didn't open until I used my hip to push it. No lights. Room was extremely HOT. And here's the worst part....the sheets were dirty...clearly slept in. Bed bugs in one of the beds and crumbs too! The frig had the last guest's food in it. The tub was stained and GROSS. The shower curtain was disgusting, yellow and brown. Crickets were in the room. The bathroom didn't have but 2 towels for 4 people. We walked backed to the window outside and the clerk said to give her 10 min to go find some. No coffee maker, no microwave. Just dirty floors (sandy) and clearly the linens were reused. SOMETHING OUT OF A HORROR MOVIE.
Bathroom window disgusting and did not shut properly.
Sheets were already slept in AND one bed had hair, crumbs and bugs in it.
This was the shower curtain. Stained brown and so gross.
The tub was dirty, peeling and stained.

Sheets were stained, spiders in the room, the bathtub was chipped, air conditioning struggled to make the room cool. Overall, rundown. No breakfast was available even though it was advertised.

The room was 100 degrees when we got there. They turned the ac on when we arrived and the room did not get cool until morning. Brown water came out of the tap and shower. The fridge was not cold. Paid almost 200 and was absolutely not worth the price.

I would not recommend this property to my worst enemy!! The only good thing was the bed which appeared to be the only new thing in the room! In the information it says it has a coffee maker, (but I had to go back to the front desk to get it and some coffee), fridge and microwave, it did have both, they were awful. The floors were dirty, I could see outside light thru the door and the sides of the A/C. The bath room was disgusting. Expedia should take this dump off their list because posted pictures look NOTHING like the actual room. YUK

It’s fine for an overnight or couple of days stay but the Marriott it’s not Plus it’s in Blythe so it’s not like you want to hang out there. Roger the manager does go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable !!!
