I really liked everything about this hotel, the style, decor, cleanliness, bed comfort, and breakfast were all excellent, as well as the reception staff. I wish I could give it a 5 but almost every night the music was extremely loud and into the early morning hours, coming from their own cafe. I was on the floor above the cafe so maybe other rooms aren’t as bad, but if sleep is important ask for a room away from the street and cafe. Also I was in two different rooms and the cook top didn’t work in either. There are easily fixable things, in which case I would have given a 5. The neighborhood isn’t great but safe enough and easy to get to most anywhere in bogota by uber or Cabify

Terible room with a very bad staircase. Don’t book these rooms as they post a hazard. The glass railings seems not enough to support you incase you loose your balance. Used to be one of my favorite in Chapinero. Breakfast became poorer over the year. Their popularity get to their head already and the customer service is going down. They are loosing it. I would rather go to Mer Cure 3 blocks away. Better room and better breakfast. Almost the same price.

Please read: I usually stay at this property over the years. They used to be the best when it comes to customer service and hospitality. They are now wayy too low on that. Very strict on check-in time. You have to show up there on the dot or later. And It will take you around 30mins to check in and get the room key. They will not proactively check you in and verify your documents ealier than that, and when check in time at 3pm, everyone (guest) will be showing up at the same time and they will be overwhelmed. Past 2 days, breakfast is just eggs/tomato/onion. No more ham. No sausage or bacon. Just few bread and usually just a roll looking bread. No more croisant. Price wise, they went all the way double they used to be, which is fine. I would rather stay at Mer c ure Chapinero next time if i have a choice.

The hotel is very unique and cute. The staff were great, and the made to order breakfast was delicious. We didn’t like the spiral stairs going up to the loft bedroom. They are treacherous in the middle of the night. Book the hotel, but ask for a one level room.

The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. The rooms are newly updated and very clean. The rooms we stayed in all had a mini kitchenette. A simple breakfast was provided with fresh fruits and freshly cooked eggs of your choice. The street that the hotel is located on is very dirty and felt unsafe at night. The neighborhood is fine in the day time but felt unsafe after dark. For the price point, this hotel provided a very comfortable stay.

The room has no windows, there is a very narrow spiral staircase to get down to the bathroom (very challenging in the middle of the night without any nightlight). The lights in the sleeping area don't work. And it's very noisy due to a party on the ground floor that somehow channels the sound up to the third floor. The neighbourhood is a bit sketchy.

Leo is alway great. He always offer help navigating the city and tourist destination the easiest way. He even recommended a driver to brought us to Salt Cathedral. Very affordable friendly hotel in the middle of Chapinero.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Grace Chapiero. The area around the hotel is walkable and felt safe. The staff were very helpful and kind. Our room was cleaned every day and was very well kept. We particularly liked that the room included a stove top on which to make tea. The room also had a refrigerator. The hotel was able to watch our luggage on our last day in Bogota so we could explore the city before our evening flight. Additionally they helped us with arranging transport to the airport. Overall was an enjoyable and hassle-free stay.
