Cocoonr agency offers you this charming, relaxing flat for rent in Cenon, with bohemian chic decor. It measures 60 m² and can accommodate up to 2 people. Located on the 11th floor (with lift), it comprises a pretty 30 m² living room, a fitted kitchen, a lovely bedroom, an office area and a bathroom. Bed linen and towels are included. We're waiting for you!

The accommodation comprises
- A 30 m² living room with TV, Wifi, sofa and armchair and dining area
- A fully-equipped kitchen with electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, hob, etc.
- Office area with double sofa bed
- A bedroom with a double bed (140×190)
- Bathroom with bath and WC

For even greater comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: washing machine, tumble dryer, fan, iron.

Outside:
- A balcony with outdoor furniture to make the most of the fine weather.

The flat is ideally located in Cenon, in a popular district, with a pleasant park at the foot of the residence (a tower dating from the 1970s). You'll be close to all the essential shops, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars, markets, etc.

Activities :
Not far from Bordeaux, Cenon rises to the top of a small hill with a peak of 70 metres on the right bank of the Garonne. Overlooking the alluvial plains and the Bordeaux region, it opens out into the charming Entre-deux-Mers and offers a breathtaking 180-degree view of the river.
- Sights: Bordeaux (a city of art and history with a prestigious heritage), Saint-Émilion (a charming medieval town renowned for its vineyards), the Gironde estuary, Bourg (a picturesque little town on the banks of the Dordogne), Libourne (a port bastide)...
- Sporting activities: various hikes, a day's cycling in the vineyards, vélorail du Pays Gabay...
- Cultural visits: the Cité du Vin (a celebration of the world's wines in an unusual museum), the Musée d'Aquitaine, the Château de Vayres...
- Gastronomic heritage: discover the vineyards, oysters from the Arcachon Basin, cannelé, etc.

Transport :
- Free parking is available close to the accommodation.
- Tramway 2 minutes' walk away (Palmer or Buttinieres stops), taking you to the centre of Bordeaux in 20 minutes.
- Nearest train station: Cenon, 2.3 km away (approx. 6 minutes).
- Nearest airport: Bordeaux 22.5 km away (approx. 24 minutes)

Other remarks :
- Bed linen and towels included.
- Work will be carried out in front of the building and in the communal areas until the end of September 2026, which may cause visual and noise nuisance. There may also be temporary water cuts.
- The residence is secure, with an intercom and video surveillance system.
- Pets are not allowed in the accommodation.
- End-of-stay cleaning includes preparing the accommodation for future visitors. Please leave it in a clean and tidy condition and clean all appliances after use.
- All requests for arrival or departure outside the times indicated are subject to the availability of the person in charge of reception. A flat-rate supplement may be charged.

what you pay for…not great.

It was not very comfortable stay, we found small bits of smashed glass around the kitchen that hadn’t been cleaned up from previous guests and my partner cut his foot on a piece. There were very tired bed linens, we ended up buying our own bed linens and pillows to try to get a decent night’s sleep but the mattress was very worn too. The apartment wasn’t very clean to begin with and was full of the owners personal stuff so we couldn’t relax or use much of any of the space, the freezer was full of their own food, as were the cupboards. Every shelf and drawer and space had their own items in it. So we couldn’t unpack our own things and instead lived out of our suitcases for a month. The bathroom was in a poor state. The toilet flush didn’t work most of the time, and it would leak water onto the floor. There were pigeons nesting on the balcony that the property manager told us not to disturb… so we didn’t, but they ended up covering the whole balcony in poo so it was unusable anyway. The windows in the bedroom leaked during a big rainstorm one night, the lifts in the building constantly broke down. (Not the owners fault of course but please be aware if you have disability or need an elevator/lift this is not the apartment for you. We only chose this apartment as we needed something this side of the river whilst we worked nearby Cenon for a month, as there was little choice we chose to extend the stay by a little but we were very happy to have left.

Cependant, tout ce qui est relatif à la cuisine laisse à désirer, les couverts, assiettes, ustensiles de cuisines, four étaient mal lavés ou non lavés (ce qui fait que nous n'avons pas pu l'utiliser) et les plaques de cuisson sont difficiles d'utilisation, seulement 2 sur 4 ont l'air de fonctionner."
