Anytime I need to pass through the Shreveport/Bossier City area, I stay at The Horseshoe. It is always a great experience. Parking is so easy and I almost always find a spot very close to the elevators. Checking in is a breeze and the desk clerks are so friendly. The rooms are beautiful with huge bathrooms and amazing beds.

We stayed in the newly renovated room. We were very impressed. The room was very nice. The tub is massive for a hotel. We ate at the 8 oz. Burger Bar on the first floor. It was amazing. We will definitely be back!

Two Night Stay

I have stayed at this hotel before and have been pleased with both the service and condition of the hotel and the room. This time was different. You could tell the rooms were dated although they were clean. There were three things I found about the room that was somewhat annoying. First, both the fitted sheet on the bed as well as one of the pillow cases had holes in it. They were not big holes but I was surprised to find them. The second thing was the thermostat on the wall fell sometime during the night. It was hanging by the electrical wire. I did manage to get it to stay in place. The most distracting thing was the refrigerator made a loud noise when it would come on and this made it difficult to sleep until the refrigerator shut back off. The room itself was clean. I am a little dissappointed there is no daily cleaning service for the room.

Only a couple of restaurants open. No mention by Expedia or the property that there is very little open before 5pm except casino not that majority of restaurants & bars are only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Good luck finding a drink before 5pm.

We had an incredible experience at the Horseshoe Hotel! The staff was welcoming, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. The dining options were fantastic, and the casino added an extra layer of fun. Everything was well-maintained, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to visit again!

I was in room. in the early morning of the night i was itching so bad then broke out all over my body with bug bites. i had to use my epi pen. i checked out at 7:00 am and informed the supervisor at check out she took some pictures but didn't offer any discount or refund. Don't believe I will stay there again. room was expensive and to have either bug bites or other bugs was unacceptable.

Expected more

I've stayed at Horseshoe Casinos before (including this one, although its been awhile) and have always had a great experience. For whatever reason, this was not a pleasant stay. First, we pulled into the valet area to check in at about 6pm. There were two other cars ahead of us, all of us waiting for the valet. After waiting for awhile i called the hotel and was connected to a call center at another location. They kept telling me that the location i was at had a valet, even though that wasn't my question. I already knew they had one, he/she was just missing. While i was on the phone trying to communicate that we needed a valet one finally showed up. The next morning at about 830 my wife and I woke up after hearing what sounded like a power tool in the room next to us. Apparently they were replacing some bathroom tile...at 830 am. After the power tool came the hammering which went on for about 15 minutes. I called the front desk and was told basically "yes, we've complained to our contractors about that before, but we don't control when they work or do repairs so there is nothing we can do" I asked to speak to the manager and was told none would be there until 3pm. I suggested that 3pm might be a good time to replace tile rather than 830 when the guests are trying to sleep, but again..."nothing we can do". We had a 10 hour drive ahead of us so my wife and i decided just to get packed and get out of there, but again, the valet was missing so we had to go find him.
