this hotel was not clean the room was badly decorated had one pint of carling pipes were not cleaned in ages. there was music playing in backround with lots of swearing when there was lots ok children running around. im sorry but this hotel was horrible

The Hotel is run down but it was reasonable to stay (£272 for 4 nights bed and breakfast) booked extra room just before we went for extra friend. We paid £387 for same but booked last August when we booked tickets for Show at BIC. So handy as just down the road 2 min walk. Seafront 5 mins and town centre 5 mins. Staff were very helpful and sorted out any shortages of food, plates, mugs etc when they ran out. More staff would have been useful over the weekend at breakfast

Friendly Hotel close to Seafront and shops

This Hotel is basic but the Staff were friendly and very helpful. Any problems over breakfast time with items running out were sorted straight away. More Staff at Breakfast time over the weekend would have helped with tables being cleared and keeping on top of food items needing replacing but staff worked hard to keep up with demand. Its in a great position for town, just a 5 minute walk and same for seafront. We stayed as going to BIC which is 2 mins down the road.

A nice welcome , all staff very friendly , room but tired and dated but comfortable. Hairdryer , TV , tea and coffee kettle, etc. bathroom shower bit broken. But very noisy, no soundproofing whatsoever. During the night we were woken many times by slamming doors, voices from the corridors and general speaking voices and walking around in the rooms both above and adjacent. Impossible to ignore.

Old hotel in need of urgent renovation

The hotel needs an urgent renovation. The room looked like it hasnt been modified till the 19s. Had a small old tv where the remote wasnt working. Overall the whole building needs an urgent renovation. The staffs were polite and pleasant. The breakfast is good. Machine Coffee wasnt nice though.

Shambles

Was charged extra for breakfast. Bacon was overcooked and the fried egg was rubbery. The coffee machine wasnt working properly and the toast was lost down the back of the grill. Wouldnt stop here again.

This being my 2nd visit, it’s cheap and location is good. I was woken to come downstairs to settle my bill as my 1st night was paid but my 2nd 2 nights were not. Rather than messaging me on my phone number, or email or Expedia or stopping me when I came in hotel ( they had to buzz me in) they chose to come and wake me up and demand I come immediately to pay. The manager was apologetic which did count for something. As a lone traveller it wasn’t nice to have a man come knocking at my door. Really spoilt my stay.
