Had a lovely two night stay here whilst exploring Bournemouth. The hotel itself is lovely and the staff were all very nice and accommodating. Good breakfast, spacious rooms; and a bath! A very convenient location to the beach and the town. It is right in the middle of a very steep hill though, not at fault of anyone, but it was a pain for myself to walk up; says more about me than the hotel lol! But an excellent value hotel and id stay again!

The room was the cleanest, carpets didnt look like they where vacuumed and the old windows seem to be rotton and hard to open/close. The hotel generally had an old bulding smell.

The hotel is old the shower was random beads of water. You get what you pay for. But actuly it was not worth what you pay for.

I had to wait a good 10 to 15 minutes at reception before anybody seen me in the room there was no welcome back to tell you about the facilities and there were crumbs all over the settee in the room. The TV was only satisfactory. It could do with updating, but the room was serviced every day.

We had quite a pleasant stay here. Initially we were a bit worried because it looks VERY run down. Definitely needs modernising. The room we were given had not been decorated in years and the mattress was quite uncomfortable. However, the staff were extremely helpful. They showed us a couple of alternative rooms so we can see which we prefer. We needed something suitable for us to have our little boy with us. The room we finally were given had a more comfortable mattress. The swimming pool was nice enough, something to do on a rainy day. The sauna is not great but we enjoyed the jacuzzi and pool. The hotel needs some refurbishment, but I can imagine it will be an extremely costly job. Location was great and parking was a bonus. We had to pay for parking but we would have to pay if we parked near the beach if we tayed somewhere further away. Overall pleasant experience.

The staff were absolutely lovely, attentive and couldnt help you enough but the property is run down and is in great need of a refurb, update, even just redecorating the rooms.

Decoration Tired needs an update. Wouldnt cook poached, boiled or scrambled egg so only fried eggs for breakfast or nothing. Poor choice of breakfast. Floor boards creaked badly throughout hotel so not a peaceful night. Waited over an hour for an extra pillow. Staff pleasant enough

Very slow on check-in. Staff were polite. Very dated and tired decor, wallpaper and paint peeling, all furniture in our room was damaged. The windows were filthy.There was a large crack going across the bathroom sink. A shoer over bath but no shower curtain. Beds/mattresses were hard. Basic breakfast choice. I reported a food spillage by the lift at the carpark level, it was still there over 12hrs later. Parking onsite was expensive and if you moved your car there was no guarantee you'd have anywhere to park on return. Rubbish and overgrown all over. On the plus side the hotel is close and convenient for the BIC, town and beach. Would i stay again....NO

Could hear conversationa and footsteps next door and above. Hotel was too hot Pool room was hot and steamy so didn't swim Intercom was unreliable.. Got breakfast was good but not a good selection of cereals Most staff were pleasant but one or two a little lacking in interpersonal skills Car park overbooked so parking for tradesman offered

Nice reception and very welcoming, but when we got to our room the carpet was covered with dog hair. I asked for the room to be recleaned but was moved to a different room which was nice. But unfortunately was woken by a couple( not sure if staff or guests)having a very loud argument for several hours. New room was comfortable, clean and breakfast was lovely.

The assitant at trueville was very polite and friendly allow going to hermitige hotel for my breakfast was arkward im disabled and i have a small mobility scooter i could charge the battery at hotel im very gratefully appreciated it being battery charge at hotel the breakfast was huge at trouville and was very good i think the helpfull staff at trouville hotel very short of staff but worked and helped everyone as best they could thanking you 😀 all staff for all your help being disabled the staff wear excellent especially the reception lady

The hotel is pretty shabby. The room was functional, but a bit grubby. The toilet seat was broken. The wall paper was coming off the wall and the shower was an angry teacher with a lisp. Breakfast was chaos as they constantly ran out of food. Not enough staff to maintain the demand at breakfast. Tables were left uncleared.
