On the plus side, the woman at the front desk was friendly and professional. Otherwise, the property was very disappointing. It's an extended stay hotel, so it was nice to have a full-size fridge, microwave, sink and small stovetop. That said, there were no utensils, plates, paper towels, or other supplies I usually see in extended stays. If management is worried about theft, post a price list and charge for missing items. As for what we all expect in a standard hotel, this property fell incredibly short. No hairdryer! Unacceptable. No coffee maker. No ice machines ("make your own ice in your room," which takes a few hours). No hand towels, just wash/bath. No toilet lid (ew!). No drapes, only wide shutter blinds that barely block the light. When you're next to a highway with lights on overnight, it's very bright. If there was a car leaving a business across the street with its headlights pointed straight at the hotel, you would get that light, as well as flashing light as cars would drive in front of headlights. Worse was that there was water on the floor in both the rooms that I was in (one room had water at check-in, the new room they moved me to had water in the morning). Yes, some big rains came through, but there should not be water on the floor. They clearly know it's an issue; when I mentioned it at checkout, they said there was a problem on rainy/windy days with water being blown in through the AC. Not okay! Fix it! Inexcusable for a year-old property!

My room’s air did not work, and I was told that there was a way to fix it, which I tried but it never got cool enough for me to sleep comfortably. I told the lady at the front desk when I checked out in the morning, they informed me that a few of their rooms had problems with the air conditioning and they were the “last to rent rooms”. I guess I drew the unlucky straw and my night was very warm and uncomfortable.

Overall good experience.

Check in was rough. Very unfriendly person at the desk. Tried to put me in a smaller bed room even though I paid for a king. Rolled her eyes when I said I wanted the bed size I reserved. Check out was great.. staff was friendlier and I definitely would stay again. Cleanliness was great. Other guests were not very respectful. Barking dogs.

Never staying at a Woodspring again!

They didn't have our king room that we prepaid for and tried to say I was mistaken even though I had the receipt. Then she said they were booked up. There were no plates, cups, utensils, cookware, soap, hand towels, coffee pot. The front desk lady said "It's extended stay, so people bring all that." I said we always stay at extended stay because they provide all those things. The building is poorly insulated, so we could hear all the traffic and all the adjoining rooms.

The room was just okay. The blinds would not extend to the bottom of the window. Although there is a full sized fridge, microwave, and stovetop, the room has no napkins, paper towels, plastic ware or even a paper or plastic cup. For the price I paid, I expected better.

Spartan accommodations.

So this was my first experience with an extended stay. I thought it would be comparable to any hotel...I was so wrong. First thing we noticed was 2 bathtowels & 2 washcloths in the bathroom...no extra towels or handtowels at all. No coffe maker, no hair dryer, no complimentary shampoo or conditioner. NO PAPER CUPS in the room...wth? There was a kitchenette with absolutely nothing to use...no paper towels, no utensils, etc. I needed a clean towel after the 1st night & they made me bring my dirty towel down to the front desk to turn it in for a new one. When we went up to our room a nearby room had a bag of garbage sitting outside the door. The next evening there were 2 bags outside their door. For the money I could have stayed in a more accomodating hotel...live & learn.
