The carpet was very dirty. If you walked in bare feet it was like pop turned to syrup all around the table. The chairs were sticky with pop all over them. We saw a cockroach. The breakfast had water downed gravy. House keeping knocked on the door before 9 and shoved towels at us and demanded out dirty towels and handed us trash bags and told us to to take care of our trash. We have stayed here for years but we are done.

The good: The bed was very comfortable and the shower had good water pressure and lots of hot water. The AC worked exceptionally even though it was 107 degrees outside. The mini fridge worked amazing. The hotel is centrally located near almost all major attractions. The bad: The walkway outside of the rooms was filthy- as if garbage bags leaked along the way. There was a step on the stairs which was loose and a definite trip hazard. Breakfast:the peanut butter was old- the top layer was thick whereas the bottom of the packet was ‘normal’ but there was no way to get to the good without going through the bad and the bad tainted the good. There was no fruit, not even a banana. There was no yogurt or boiled eggs.

We’ve stayed in Branson for the last 30 years and this is our first bad hotel experience and the only time we’ve ever complained. Lobby was unattended at check-in and an irritated employee came in upset about paycheck not being there. The first room we were given wouldn’t unlock. The second room smelled hazardous. Apparently the air conditioning is turned completely off when rooms aren’t in use resulting in a musty, moldy smell (even the towels smelled). We immediately turned on the air then went and purchased Lysol and Fabreeze but it was still bad. We left for several hours because it was so hot. We went to the office to the Hotel wouldn’t let me cancel our second night even though we asked on the first day and just gave us higher grade air freshener in response to our concern about it being unhealthy to stay in the room. We woke up feeling awful so we left early and paid for a different hotel.

The breakfast was awful. They didn’t have towels when we needed them but got them a few hours later. And they aren’t very pleasant when you let them know you need something. The bed was comfortable.
