Hotel okay, didn't feel safe

Front desk was very friendly. I loved that each day they hung a bag of fresh towels on our door knob. The bed was very comfortable and the room was decently clean. It is older and a bit dated. My primary complaint for cleanliness was that we purchased a non smoking room and it very much smelled of smoke. The blanket for the bed absolutely reeked of it. We ended up purchasing a blanket for the bed and room fresheners at the local Wal-Mart. My other big complaint isnt really against the hotel itself but a heads up for anyone looking to stay in the area.. we were awoken at 130am the first night by door pounding and screaming from the room next door, then the second night we had a strange man wearing all dark clothing beating on our door at 330am and had to call the police. So overall it just didn't fell like a safe area and we likely will not stay in this area again.

The sheets didn’t fit the bed they need to invest in better sheets. And there were no blankets or towels available when I asked for more. So they need to invest in more of those as well

The motel did the job it was intended for but could use a little more cleaning and was more than 80 degrees when we got into the room. It took more than 12 hours for it to feel cool enough to be comfortable.

Paid for a room that was on the ground level did not get and their t. V is very bad. No local channels, no way to get local channels. So how can you watch the news? Or anything probably. That was a deal breaker for me and I might not stay there again

The room appeared clean, but there was like laundry unstoppables spilled behind the night stand between the beds, so It makes me question how often they move stuff. The sheets look visibly clean but we bring a black light (years of travel) to check for bugs and stains, No Bugs but they had several stains on a bottom sheet that showed up on one of the beds. In the Hotels defence it looked clean, but not under the black light not so much, I know we are a little extreme but, there are reasons we are that way. To solve the issue we removed the sheet. The Neighbors were a little noisy, but I can't blame the hotel for that, as the kids next door ran up and down the entry way it was loud in the room . The breakfast was good and hot and the staff kept it stocked. All the staff seemed very nice and willing to help. All and all it was an average room, with free breakfast. I would tell people if they want a basic place to stay that has a breakfast, for a decent price it would be worth it .
