Low cost, average quality

They said that they are renovating some rooms, so maybe that’s why some areas were not in great shape. Every chair in the dining area had stains on the seat. The breakfast options were very basic. The room had old anchors in the wall, needed painting in spots, and the bathroom was old but clean. For the price, it was a decent place. Nice staff who were very helpful!

The girl at the front lobby was so nice and knowledgeable and positive! We got to the room that she said had been renovated. The bed was in a metal frame that you could feel through the mattress. The renovation was extremely sloppy and looked like a five year old did it, there was a party of some sort above us that ended around 3 am. It was a place to lay our head but would never stay there again. I go to Branson a lot! Have certain motels we like better and decided to try something new for sake of being open minded. This was not a win. Thank goodness there are lots of other places to stay! Oh and not pet friendly like it says it is. But this didn’t matter on this trip for us.

Surprised how nice it was for the price. Our room was very clean. Some of the furniture was dated, but truthfully for the price that was fine. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but it was better then some I have slept on. The breakfast had a lot of variety. The Bathroom was clean. water worked fine. Also there was an elevator which was nice. Internet worked just fine. Lobby was clean, staff was great.

Dark room

The check-in process was easy, and the girl at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful in suggesting ideas and providing lots of information. The room left much to be desired. There was not adequate lighting and the room was just old and outdated. It was nothing like the photos pictured, and was not newly renovated like I had read. There was one lamp in between the two beds that was supposed to light to whole room...it was extremely dark and dreary looking in there. There is a light above the sink that we would turn on for some additional light, but it didn't help much. The towels provided did not even dry water off of our bodies. They seemed as though they were made of a different material, other than cotton. They didn't absorb water at all. Overall, you get what you pay for. It was ok for sleeping, but definitely left a lot to be desired.

We’ve stayed here multiple times and will definitely stay again. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean and comfortable with great air conditioning. Very nice hot breakfast with plenty of options and the pool was nice and clean. Great place to stay and affordable.

Quick trip, great stay!

The Sunset Inn was worth every penny we paid for the night. The building looks neat and tidy, a calm lavender color. Check-in went quick and straightforward, as it should. The room was cool, meaning the AC worked; the room did not smell musty or dusty or anything, so we knew it had been taken care of. The beds were comfy, the shower clean, the TV sharp (though unplugged). Google ratings gave it like 3.7, but it's easily a 5 for me. When we return to Branson, we will be checking out this hotel as a possibility!
