Welcome to Worth the Wait on Mountain Fork River!
Sitting on a full acre, Worth the Wait offers privacy and all the amenities for your vacation to Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
When you arrive to the cabin, you'll be greeted with hundreds of feet of private riverfront and the best views of the lower Mountain Fork River. It's the perfect spot for families, girls trips, and friend groups!

LIVING AREA
When you enter the cabin, you'll walk into the open concept living, dining and kitchen area. The living area is furnished with a sectional, huge smart TV, and a beautiful rock fireplace (seasonal and only connected during winter months). All the TVs in the cabin are equipped with the cabin's Netflix account and the living room TV also has YouTube TV so you won't miss any sports you want to see. To the side of the living area, sits a regulation size pool table for a little friendly competition. There's also a whole house surround sound connected to an IPad just inside the front door where you can listen to any music you like and control the speaker output to the cabin and outdoor areas.

KITCHEN
Separating the living room from the kitchen is a large island. The kitchen has top of the line appliances and all the dishware and cookware needed to prepare delicious meals. Small appliances are also stocked including a griddle, toaster, blender, crock pot, Keurig, and mixer. There's also an extra fridge in the laundry room. Just pack your food. Everything else is there!

GAME ROOM
Off the kitchen is the large game room that boasts a wet bar with a sink and wine fridges. It has a huge electric sectional with a giant TV, foosball, shuffle board, a Pac Man arcade game and even its own half bath. No matter the age of your group, there will be no one saying they're bored!

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
This cabin was designed with privacy in mind for each couple. Each of the 3 king bedrooms have their own ensuite, TV, closet and dressers. Ceiling fans are also in each room of the house and box fans in closets. The master even has its own thermostat and HVAC, one of 3 units to keep the entire cabin comfortable. The 3 king bedrooms sleep 6 guests and an additional 6 can sleep in the bunkroom with two stacked bunks with trundles underneath. The master has a walk in shower and a jetted tub with double vanities. The second and third bedrooms have walk in showers. There is a shower/tub combo in the hall bath that works great for the bunkroom. All beds are dressed in top of the line linens and pillows. We have a lot of guests ask for the details for the beds and linens because they are all so comfortable!

LAUNDRY ROOM
The laundry room in this cabin has double stacked front load washers and dryers and a full size refrigerator. We provide laundry detergent so you never have to worry about overpacking. In the drawers in the laundry room are beach towels for the hot tub.

OUTDOOR AREAS
The huge covered patio has tons of seating, a dining table, top of the line grill just steps from the kitchen, a restaurant quality ice maker, plus a patio TV and a ping pong table. And sitting in its own alcove is the 8 person hot tub with a door from the hallway. That's just the patio! There is also a huge river level deck with lounge chairs. The steps from the river deck lead to a great swimming hole. Down on the river level is where the 8 kayaks are for you to use while at the cabin. There are 4 singles and 4 doubles Jackson kayaks just like the kayak rental places use. Adult size life vests are provided and a couple of children sizes, but we do recommend bringing your own if you need specific sizes for your group.
Back up in the main yard, you can enjoy horseshoes, the fire pit with firewood included, corn hole boards and a large play set for the kiddos, all under string lights for late evenings.
We've also installed a MistAway that is a pest control system with misters around the entire perimeter to help with insect control to try to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, but you're still at the river so we can't promise no mosquitoes or other flying bugs.

RIVER ACCESS
Mountain Fork is a clean, clear, cold and beautiful river. It's safe for swimming, fishing and kayaking. However, only the weather and Corp of Engineers have control over the river level. During rainy seasons, there may be too much water being released to make the river safe for enjoying. We never know from day to day what the level will be. And it really is cold so you're not going to want to swim until the Oklahoma heat hits, but it sure is pretty to look at even if it's too cold to get in.

PETS
Worth the Wait is now pet friendly! Here's how it works: you are allowed to bring up to 2 dogs. There will be an additional $250 pet fee. This is a fee and is not refundable. In addition to the pet fee and the normal security deposit, an additional security deposit of $500 (for a total of $1,000 refundable security deposit) will be added. Both of the security deposits are refundable and will be released after check out and your dogs did not cause any damage or excess cleaning to the property.

RULES
Please read the rental agreement carefully. It basically states what's in our description above and also that you will not sue us if you're injured. The property and all amenities are "use at your own risk" and "we are not responsible for accidents". It also explains the security deposit. A refundable security deposit is required for every cabin that we rent. It is a hold placed on the credit card on file and will be released after your check out and no intentional damage is caused to the property. The security deposit for Worth the Wait is $500. Events (such as weddings) are welcome with an additional event fee. The non-refundable fee is based on the event size.
