Very clean , comfortable room and Inn. Staff, Lisa and Penny couldn’t have been nicer, helping with our trip to Cumberland Island with packed lunch in a lunchbox. If you’ve never had a claw foot tub, like me, a little challenging to get in and out of. An issue with the hot water in our room, that oddly seemed better later in morning after breakfast. Beds tall and comfortable, though my husband prefers a bit firmer mattress. We celebrated a friend’s birthday there, and Lisa put her special touch out for her:)) Watched TV in downstairs lounge area and it was just the 3 of us , so felt especially comfy and cozy. Small fridge outside room in hall was nice. Would stay again!

It was 40 degrees outside over night and the hotel had no heat. It was so cold in the room my wife got back in bed fully clothed. We had prepaid for three nights. But after one night in the cold we decided to leave. The hotel refused to credit our charge card for the two unused nights.

The staff was wonderful. Very clean. Breakfast was fresh every day. Loved the location. Our first night was very uncomfortable. Bed too soft and room too small. They were very accommodating and moved us to another room for the rest of our stay.

Even if I cancelled one day after, I was out of luck.I personally checked out St Marys after because it is an hour away from home. Nothing to do there, no real restaurants mostly bars and fast food places.Many places out of business. Avoid this place. Fernandina much better area to go to.
