Tämä, 1000 neliön jalka kotiin, vain 35 metrin päässä Green Bayn lahdelta, rakennettiin vuoden 2018 puolivälissä. Asetus on viehättävä ja rauhallinen. Tämän 2 kerroksisen kodin ensimmäisessä kerroksessa on keittiö, jossa on täysikokoinen jääkaappi, kaasuliesi, astianpesukone, mikroaaltouuni, astiat ja astiat, ruokailutila, puoli kylpyamme ja olohuone, joka avautuu Green Bayn lahdelle.

Olohuoneessa on 40 tuuman taulutelevisio ja sininen ray-DVD-soitin, jossa on antenni paikallisille asemille. On olemassa pelejä ja palapelejä.

The view was nice. We thought we had privacy with our family, but the owner of the house was always looking over at us. Extra small driveway and was asked to not back into the neighbors drive to even get into the space accurately. We felt smothered:( the owners shouldn’t be stalking families that come just to get away:(we come to Door County a few times a year. Next time we will make sure the owner of the house isn’t treating us like criminals:( could be racial since our family is mixed of white and Hispanic:(we are all citizens by the way:)

Cottage by the Lake

The cottage by the lake was a very nicely built and appointed house, with the living area on the main level featuring a half bath and two bedrooms, a full bath, and a sitting area with a hide-a-bed couch on the second level. The kitchen has just about everything you will need for a stay. The owner of the cottage was available for any questions. The road into the cottage was easy to find and plenty of parking was available. The walk from the parking area across the owners yard to the cottage was on level ground. A cart/wagon was provided to haul items to the cottage from the parking area. The sunsets were amazing with the colors as the sun set. The birds over and around the lake were fun to watch. Chairs were available to sit outside. A fire pit was available to use along with a gas and charcoal grill. The beds were very comfortable. We had a party of 4, and there was plenty of room in the cottage or while sitting outside. I would recommend this cottage for people who like low-key get-aways.

Just Perfect

How does one begin to review this perfect property, and owners. Duane and Linda were excellent at communication, with quick responses. The property was beautiful and clean. Waking up to the sounds of the waves hitting the rocks was my favorite part. Duane’s attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The kids loved playing in the rocks and swimming (bring water shoes). This location was ideal for Door County adventures.

Fall getaway

Great 2 day get away. Loved the house and being right by the water. Sunsets were awesome, fall leaves were spectacular ,especially in Peninsula State Park. Best of all, a majestic eagle flew right in front of us while enjoying a glass of wine near the water.

Duane and Linda are the ultimate hosts. The cottage is well appointed and in a spectacular location. Have stayed here with my wife, and another couple. Plenty of room for everyone. Beautiful outdoor space as well with spectacular view. Would stay here again!

Door County Stay

The grounds were very well kept and impressive when we arrived. The sunsets and views are hard to beat. The house itself was very clean and well furnished. The dishes all matched and everything we needed to prepare meals and eat was supplied. We were impressed that there were even dishes for babies although we didn’t need them. Almost everything was well thought out. We would give this rental a five and half star rating except for a couple small things. There were too few towels. One bath towel each for a week is not enough and even more important there was only one hand towel for each bathroom to be shared by four people. That is simply not enough and isn’t sanitary. Our only other complaint was that the TV service seemed to be turned off on the morning we were checking out so we couldn’t even see the news and weather. We enjoyed our stay and our interaction with the hosts who allowed us privacy throughout the stay. We would return without hesitation and we highly recommend this rental and its convenient location to the rest of Door County which we loved.

What a beautiful place to stay. The house and the views were out of this world! Seriously , you can’t go wrong with renting this lovely home. The owners were very attentive and super nice. If you're looking for a waterfront getaway, your search ends here. Duane and Linda are wonderful hosts from the initial booking until check out. The house was perfect. Clean, all of the amenities and the outdoor space was a 10/10 too. This space was the perfect backdrop for a weekend retreat with friends.

Perfect Getaway Home

This really was a unique stay for my family. The owners care about the condition and stocking of the home more than any other that I’ve ever given my business too. We were treated upon arrival by the owner Duane who was very personable and friendly. He told us that anything we may need they probably have and to just ask. After that we were given our space and privacy which was lovely. The home itself was immaculate and very well maintained. The outdoor space was peaceful and quiet. It really was a perfect stay for me and my family. Thanks!!
