Join the South West Coast Path from Bude, which offers spectacular coastal scenery, and follow the trail to North Devon’s idyllic Hartland Quay 16.5 miles away, lying in a National Landscape. Also located in a National Landscape, explore the shingle cove dominated by majestic cliffs at Crackington Beach, 10 miles away. This postcard-perfect beach offers a long stretch of golden sand, perfect conditions for surfing and plenty of rock pools to discover.


Your stunning surrounding scenery never feels far as you relax in this cosy pod, which enjoys double doors that open out onto the decked area and well-maintained, lawned grounds beyond. The characterful curved shape of the exterior is mirrored within the interior through the curved ceiling and walls, which create a wonderfully cosy cocoon that invites you to unwind. The underfloor heating (available out of season) sets the scene for pure relaxation. The king-size bed at the centre of the space beckons keen outdoor explorers to sit back and relax, with the plush bean bag futon providing extra seating and sleeping for a child (under 12 years old). The front of the pod boasts handy kitchen equipment and plenty of storage space. Outside, the external wet-room, a few steps from the front door, provides everything you need to wash off a long day on the local trails.


The stunning decked area leading up to the front door provides a picturesque haven to enjoy with loved ones, furnished with outdoor dining furniture and a BBQ. Before bedtime, sit back and soak up your fresh, Cornish air with a glass of something chilled and a good book. On-site, the shared indoor BBQ is perfect for al fresco cooking, whatever the weather, whilst the on-site shell studio offers peaceful activities to enjoy. There is off-road parking for one car available.

- On-site shell studio: sessions are up to 2 hours long, and items can be made from £5
