LOCAL ADVENTURES
-This section of the Arkansas River—known as the Milk Run—offers gentle water both upstream and downstream, ideal for beginners.
-Float from Johnson’s Village (1.5–2 hours) or launch from the property for a short, scenic trip to Ruby Mountain Campground (about 1 hour).
-For guided whitewater trips, River Runners is located just across the street with half- and full-day excursions through Brown’s Canyon National Monument and beyond to Salida.
