The room that I was originally allocated opened out to a number of aircon units, which were noisy with the balcony door open. I found this considerably challenging and upsetting, so raised my concerns with the reception staff. The manager appreciated my issues with the room, and was kind enough to move me to a nicer room, which I was very happy with. 10/10 for the service I received.

The hotel is old and needs to have a few face lifts. We turned off the fan for the hvac and a couple of hours later the room smelled like smoke. We could not figure out where it was coming from and then in the middle of the night we turned the fan back on and the smoke smell started to go away.

Very disappointed as we booked a suite to solely stay around the hotel, enjoy the facilities etc. At no time was it advertised that the pool was under Renovations. Not even when checked in, nothing was said. We were looking forward to a nice afternoon swimming and hanging out at the pool. The price was still as normal and not reduced, if we had of known we could have booked somewhere else.

I did not like that I was not told through the wotif website when making the booking that the pool was out of service for this hotel. I specifically wanted to go somewhere with a pool and was let down.

Bizarre! A pool in reception? And children's games around the dining area? And dank, heavy grey paintwork everywhere? And no wi-fi in the bedrooms??!!! Well, really?!! Bunbury seems to be a desert as far as decent hotels are concerned, the only reason they can get away with the above

Internet was very sporadic if we managed to get it at all. When we did it would last less than 5 minutes and then we would have to wait for ages to re-connect if at all so had to use own data. All tv channels were cutting in and out except abc channel and so much so that you could not watch anything especially all the channel nine channels. Couldn’t even connect to our Netflix or other accounts as internet was ridiculous.

Good location close to shops & beach. Hotel has some age and needs a refurbishment, windows dirty and needs cleaning. Very noisy inside & out, cars doing burn outs & general street noise. Car mirror was ripped off in outdoor car park which is elevated above street. Booked a family suite only to find out it was only a queen & single when advertised as 2 queens & a single. Had to pay $600 a night for a suitable 2 bed room. Very overpriced for an old run down hotel. Pool was under construction so no pool for kids. Not a great weekend with an expensive car repair bill.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Cars broken into and staff couldn’t care less. Items stolen off car and staff don’t even bother to return calls. Dirty carpet. Loud musics in lobby ALL OF THE TIME! Kids played pool, paying each time - front office staff knew the kids were playing as they asked repeatedly for change. Then as we left we find out it’s free! Scammers! Staff were rude when we requested assistance for anything. Avoid at all costs!

Superior room or normal hotel room??

Booked a superior king rrom woth beach view and balcony. There was no beach view. I didn't measure the bed but i dont think that was king size bed either. No bath tub as shown in the photo. The listing says larger room but it was normal sized room!! I think paying the extra money for the view and larger room was bit of scam!! Balcony had a little outdoor stool/table with rusty leg, floors were dusty!! Room didnt have a proper light, had to make it work with the bed side lamps and a table lamp that was there.
Day time view from Superior king room- listing says it has beach view!!
Night view from the same room- no beach visible with naked eye from the room. Lesson learnt- when booking this hotel, don't pay the premium price, just book the normal room and same your bucks!!
