We live off site, but are always happy to help. All guests receive our guidebook to the area, which also contains a house manual with information to assist you during your stay.

Located near Mount Mitchell and Mount Mitchell Gold Course, the neighborhood is a beautiful community nestled into the mountains with a serene river view. The roads are maintained by the HOA and are plowed in winter.

Helene Update: Some points of interest might have changed hours or are closed. For example, Mt Mitchell State Park is closed, but there are several other stunning vistas to be found at other locations. Businesses in Spruce Pine, Bakersville, and Burnsville are open and operating as usual. We even have some new options! A digital guidebook is provided to all guests to help you plan your trip.

HOT TUB FEE & USE: We understand that not all guests wish to use the hot tub, so we’ve made it an optional amenity to help keep base rates lower. If you would like to enjoy the hot tub during your stay, a $100 usage fee and a signed waiver are required in accordance with our insurance policy. Please follow all hot tub rules as outlined in house rules/rental agreement and posted at the cabin.
