The charms of Cape Cod await around every corner at this turn-of-the-century home, beautifully situated within walking distance of Point Independence Beach. Spend your days swimming, kayaking (with two kayaks, paddles, and life jackets provided), and playing lawn games, and your evenings unwinding in rocking chairs on the covered porch that wraps around the house.

Built in 1900 as one of the first homes in the area, this property has a lengthy local history. In fact, it was once a fishing shack where fisherman would stay in the middle of their adventures. Today, it boasts a wonderful location close to Point Independence Beach (a third of a mile), live music and activities at Onset Beach (less than a mile), Water Wizz of Cape Cod (two miles), and the Bourne Bridge (four miles).

The outdoor spaces are something truly special, giving you the feeling you've stepped back in time. Sip your morning coffee in the rocking chairs, prepare barbecue lunches on the gas grill, and watch your kids play in the grass from the wicker sofa or seats at the outdoor dining table.

The interior has been beautifully updated, yet it retains much of its original character. The open floor plan makes gathering effortless, allowing you to easily play board games and watch movies with your loved ones. The polished kitchen and adjoining kitchenette are equipped with stainless steel appliances, and there's plenty of room for meals at the breakfast bar, in the dining room, and outside on the porch. Of the bedrooms, one is on the main floor and two are upstairs (where the ceilings are relatively low at 6'5"). Window AC, a washer/dryer, and complimentary WiFi are provided as well.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa's good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
