The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of Calgary. Our room was surprisingly quiet. We booked a room with a separate bedroom with a door as we were travelling with a little one so it was nice to not go to bed at 7 pm as we weren't sitting in a room with a toddler! We really appreciated the room set up. The housekeeping staff was great and we enjoyed the pool. My only negative I would point out is that the front desk staff, who you think would be welcoming and friendly were not. They weren't rude, but if you entered the hotel or left, we never once had anyone look up or make eye contact or say hello or smile or anything and we were there for four days and we literally had to walk right in front of the front desk. This seemed very unusual to me compared to any other hotel experience I have had. When interacting with this staff upon check in and check out, they were polite, but that was it. We didn't expect fireworks when we entered the building in welcome, but odd not to look up and smile at a guest when they entered or left the building. That is a note more for management then anything, other than that the hotel met our needs.

Airport shuttle was not easy to find - especially when the desk clerk could have told me that I go through door 4 and wait at bay 17. Instead I had to call a number and a person NOT at the hotel "gave" me information. Also, considering the expense of the room it should have included breakfast.

When we got up to our room, we had an issue with the electrical outlets in the room not working. Amazon quick call down to the front desk had them check a breaker and fixed right away
