Brought my family and another couple down for a softball tournament. The residence was extremely warm (23.5 degrees Celsius) upon arrival on Friday evening. Spoke to the host, he brought over a single floor fan which was a minor relief for my wife and I, however, provided no relief to anyone else in the residence. The host stated he would have someone come in on Saturday to take a look to see what was going on. There was no communication Saturday to state anything had been done. I went back to the residence in between games around 2:30pm and the temperature was up to 25.5 at that time. Messaged the host after I left who advised his findings and advised that he had been in there and made some adjustments, but hadn't advised me that he had done anything. Therefore additional efforts I had made to cool down the unit may have undone the steps that he took to cool down the unit. Ironically enough he couldn't answer any phone calls because he was on a flight further delaying a resolution. Pros: Clean, tidy unit, ample room, good location. Cons: Poor host communication and extremely poor inside temperature resulting in a very cranky collection of guests who had great trouble getting a good night sleep. Easily avoidable with better communication.

Great location. Property was nice and clean. Didn’t realize there wasn’t air conditioning which was an oversight on my part. Two of the bedrooms face a busy road and is quite loud at night. So be aware if you’re a light sleeper. Beds were also quite firm. If that isn’t an issue for you, this property would be a good choice.

We loved our stay at Shane's Vrbo! The place was clean and spacious. Kitchen was stocked up, and as a family of 4 with a cat, we weren't missing anything during our stay. We even extended our stay for a few more days. Location is perfect. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting or relocating to Calgary!
