The space:

Based in a tiny countryside Hamlet of 7 properties, our Cottage was historically the Mine Counting House.

You can see the stars at night here due to the very low light pollution & we are so close to local beaches with just a short drive that sunsets & evening strolls are an easy delight.

Our petite accommodation is at the side of our cottage with a corridor between. There is a private entrance & the adjoining door can be locked from both sides for your peace of mind.

There is a small deck outside for your use but you are also welcome to use the garden.

It's a petite, cute & modern space ideal for a Cornish stay :)

Lands End is 25 miles away, approx. 45 minute drive, The Eden Project in the opposite direction is 36 miles away and approx. 50 minute drive. These are probably the furthest distance with most other places of note within. For example, St Ives is approx. 20 mins (traffic depending). Nothing in Cornwall that you may wish to visit is too far away from us which makes our location ideal for exploring.

Aldi is a 4 minute drive. Fuel at Tesco approx. 6 minutes. Tesco Extra 10 minutes. We are in the lucky position to be in the country but with easy access to everything within a few minutes.

There is a mini guide book with the welcome pack in the accommodation for a few ideas for your adventures & I am happy to advise wherever possible to give you the possible best stay :)

Guest access:

Access into the suite is through the large double gates to the side of the garden. The suite is then in front of you to the left. Please be sure to latch the gate when coming and going. Full access details are provided privately so keep your eyes open for those details in the week approaching your stay.

We live on site but are in and out especially during summer so will sometimes be available on site but also via app, phone and/or email should you need us!

Other things to note:

We have an exuberant Whippet. Very friendly and inquisitive. He doesn't bite but is very excitable & will no doubt bark when he first meets you. If you are wary of dogs please give us an idea of when you are coming & going so that we can ensure he is inside for your comfort :) and if you are a dog lover then he will be 'very' happy to make your acquaintance :)

Please read our house rules. We ask you to remove the top covers from the bedding & pop them in the laundry baskets provide along with towels before you leave. We deal with the protective covers.

We also ask that you please leave our space clean. We naturally clean it after you leave however it makes life difficult for us to turn it around for the next guests if it's left in a mess. If we feel it has been left in a bad state then we reserve the right to charge for additional cleaning. Most guests are truly amazing but we have had some bad experiences resulting in now taking this into consideration. We hope that you understand :)
