Welcome to Whispering Hemlock. We are 100% pet free and located in Campton Ky. only 10 minutes from the Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park, this completely secluded log cabin is ideal for nature enthusiasts, hikers, rock climbers, off-road adventurers and those just looking for the perfect family or romantic getaway.

Located on 120 acres of private property this is cabin is country living at its best with a luxury feel and very easy 2 wheel drive parking! This newly- constructed cabin comfortably sleeps 6. Guests will appreciate the 360 degrees of total privacy surrounding the cabin. Not another house in site. Enjoy sunrises/sunsets/kayaking and fishing at Campton Lake only 2 minutes from cabin. Enjoy catch and release fishing in our 1 acre pond.

Relax in our new 6 person hot tub in the privacy of the back porch surrounded by nature at its finest.
other outdoor amenities include: firepit (firewood available for purchase on site), double hammock, bistro and patio sets on deck, park style charcoal grill (bring your own charcoal), and spacious parking.

This cabin is constructed of solid wood throughout for the true cabin experience. Open concept living area with spacious loft. Living area includes a 55' flatscreen TV (WIFI) and electric fireplace. Kitchen is fully functional with all new appliances. Master bedroom with KING bed and 2 FULL beds in loft. Bathroom includes open, walk-in shower.

We absolutely loved this property! It was perfect for our family of four. The kids enjoyed having two separate beds in the loft and the king size bed was great for us. The cabin was the cleaniest I think we've ever experienced and we travel multiple times a year. The cabin still smells like fresh timber, too! We enjoyed the hot tub, hammock, fishing pond, fire pit, and having close access to all the places we wanted to visit. It was such an easy drive. The owner, Jon, was so responsive and actually came out with the hammock when I asked about it. We chatted for a while too because they were just so nice and friendly. They also had plenty of kitchen, bathroom, and laundry supplies that what we brought wasn't really even needed. We would highly recommend this property and plan to revisit in the future!

It was the perfect last minute weekend getaway! My husband and I booked this lovely cabin for a quick getaway. Everything was even better than the pictures portrayed. The space was super clean and cozy, it had everything we needed, from plenty of towels to cozy throws and of course the hot tub. We weren't in the cabin five minutes before we were planning our next stay. It's close to Natural Bridge which we hiked and Daniel Boone's coffee (a must try if you are in the area!) The host Jon was friendly and responsive and even recommeded another property for us to check out. We will definitely be repeat patrons! :-)

Our stay was wonderful, great place quiet. This was a last minute trip we just needed to get away. And this cabin was just what we needed. Very clean and enjoyed the hot tub after the long hikes for some sore muscles. The kitchen was fully stocked but we took in several of the local places to eat and was pleasantly pleased food was great and everyone in the area is very welcoming. We definitely will be back and will definitely try to grab this cabin again. Jonathon our Host was absolutely great and reached out to let us know what was needed and the check in process was one of the smoothest we have incountered. You cannot go wrong booking this cabin can't wait till we can get away again.

This is a gem! It is secluded yet easy to access with good parking for our truck. The area is quiet, the cabin is very clean, bed very comfortable. The clean, hot tub was a welcome relief after hiking each day. Our host was very helpful with suggestions for local sites and restaurants to visit. This cabin was perfect for a base to visit the Natural bridge park, Rock bridge, Sky bridge, rock climbing, everything the gorge and surrounding area has to offer! The laundry was a nice feature also. Would highly recommend it!

The cabin is amazing. It is very secluded, but not far from everything red river gorge has to offer. The shower is so nice, the kitchen had all the utensils and spices you’ll need, the fire pit and hot tub are definitely an added bonus after long days of hiking. You will not be disappointed! Highly recommend.

Excellent Stay!

If you’re looking for a peaceful stay, look no further! This cabin had everything we love: tranquility, cleanliness, good AC and was absolutely gorgeous! It’s close enough to local restaurants and RRG but tucked in the woods so you can relax after a day of adventuring. You’re not going to find a better place! Enjoy the hammock and the hot tub. Everything is well-maintained.

Great Time!

As advertised! Great place to getaway and relax in quiet, modern, clean house. The hot tub and fire pit were great, exactly what we were looking for! The only downfall I would say would be the stairs to the loft upstairs are pretty small and tight. Luckily we didn’t have to go up there but for any kids, it would not be an issue.
