We came at 3 pm to check in like the property states but were not able to check in until 4 pm. It seemed like others were able to check in early so not sure why our room wasn't ready. We waited patiently but I had to get ready in the lobby bathroom and we missed part of a show in Aspen due to timing. The staff was friendly and apologized for our room not being ready by offering us a drink. Thank you. The front desk staff did not review anything with us such as pool times, breakfast options, where anything was etc. The hotel room was clean and nice. We planned to use the hot tub but didn't end up using it-looks like it could only fit a few people.

We scheduled this hotel last minute for an unexpected surgery at the Steadman clinic. There could not be an easier location if you're trying to access the Basalt location. I was on crutches and everything was super easy to access in the hotel.
