We loved this pinewood cabin, set in a little wood and farmland - an oasis of peace and beauty in a largely built-up area of South Wales. Rita had thought of everything one might need, including a laundry drying pole in the garden! There were clear instructions where needed about hot water and so on, and an iron and ironing board, which I don't think is mentioned on the website. It does mention that you need £1 coins for the meter, but one other reviewer seemed not to have picked this up. The kitchenette and shower room are tiny and basic, but everything works. It would be difficult to cook a complicated meal on the tiny cooker, but for a simple meal it's fine. The bedroom was large enough and comfortable, with lots of space for storage. The small sitting room and the large one that was an extension to the original lodge contained bed-settees. Both had television. The large living room had a proper dining-room table as well. This would be a perfect writing retreat, or, as I used it, a place to revise for an exam at the nearby university. Lots of places to visit if you are just on holiday, with the historic town of Llantrisant nearby and shops within a few miles. The Caesar's Arms had wonderful food! Oh, and the ducks like breakfast cereal flakes!
